 ʟιℓℓч_☽☾I dump my bags in front of the door so that i can open it with a free hand. It swings open with a little creak.
The room was sorta split into two; A bed either side of me as i stood in the doorway. I could tell by the emptiness of the room that i was the first one out of me and my new room-mate to arrive.
Which meant i get first dibs on the bed.
I run around the back of the door and jump onto the bed that was to my right with a loud "Ooof!"
I lay there for only a couple of minutes as i let things settle in my mind. I'd never shared a room before. I wondered what it would be like. I'd have to get changed in the bathroom. I hope my new room-mate doesn't mind mess.. Because this floor wasn't going to stay tidy for long.
I plug my docking station into an empty socket in the wall at the end of my bed and place the station and the little stool that's there. I selected the song All The Right Moves by One Republic and turned it up high.
I then begin to unpack my suitcases. I never knew i had so many clothes!
I was just trying to fit all of my shoes into the bottom of my wardrobe when the door opened...

Hanabi calmly walks in carrying her suitcase calmly looking around. Then she spots a girl in the room unpacking. She smiles. "Hello, I guess your my roommate." she says kindly. Then she walks across the room and sits down on the bed with nothing on it. She looks out the window to see it had a nice view of the campus outside. The first thing she takes out is her black dell lap top. She calmly places it on the desk close to her bed. Then she sits back down and unpacks her clothes. She gently places them in piles of shorts, pants, jackets, and shirts. She hangs her only dress in her closet and walks back to her bed to finish unpacking. Then when she finished unpacking all of her clothes she looks over to her room mate. "I'm Hanabi." she says smiling warmly.

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾I nod, showing i've registered what she said. I replied "My name is Lily, nice to meet you!" with what i hoped was a nice warm smile on my face. The last thing i needed was to not get on with my own room-mate. I'm sure that Hanabi would agree!
Trying to keep the conversation light and chirpy, i asked "Soo.. Where're you from?"

Hanabi smiled and rested her head on her hand. "I'm from L. A., California. My two siblings were born in Japan though... You?" She said happily as she remembered her days in California.

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾"Wow, that's cool. I'm from England. Nothing exciting. It rained a lot where i lived. I was happy when i was able to move over here. Although now i can't make the most of the sun!" I smile at my pathetic attempt of a joke. Hanabi smiled too.
She looked like the quiet type. Y'know, the ones who keep themselves to themselves but are always handy to have around; always someone to talk to.
I looked at her again and she seemed to be deep in thought; staring into space. Maybe she was missing home. I wasn't sure if i was or not. I guess i couldn't really call it my home anymore. This was my new home..
I stop myself from going to a dark place and ask her "Do you miss home?"
[Pah, don't worry about it. When i can't think of anything i just babble on about random stuff. I guess that's probably why you found my style unique! Pahaa ^^.
If you get stuck, just babble on about anything; past friends, experiences, memories... etc. ;D]

Hanabi snapped her self awake. "Huh? oh sorry. Yea... when we lived in California our parents were alive in the beginning. I like to day dream about them sometimes. Sorry if it bugs you.." she sighs. "I don't really miss home though. Those days were really just pain and struggling." (( I love responding to them though. I really love how literate they are too. haha))

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾Damn. Dead parents. That's gotta suck. "Well, i'm glad you're happier here. I am too, i think. I haven't made my mind up yet. I've made some awesome friends though. And don't worry about bugging me, i'm not easily irked smile " and with that said and done i shoved my empty suitcase under my bed and get my phone out. There was something i needed to do.
I quickly type out the message that i had pre-written in my head whislt i was unpacking; So where do we stand? Is there an "us"? Can you not stand me anymore?
I sit there and stare into space. The song had changed to How To Save A Life by The Fray when my phone eventually vibrated. My heart skipped a beat or two. Then another one when i saw who the message was from. I open the message and he replied saying No. I can't. Sorry. Bye. What a surreal moment. A silent tear ran down my cheek and instinctively i turn invisible without meaning to. I didn't want to scare Hanabi. But i doubted she'd notice my sudden disappearance with the way she stares into blissful space.

In a split second Hanabi was beside Lilly. "Are you okay? I saw a tear come down your face when you opened your phone so... is everything alright?" Hanabi had a strange gift from Nyx. She could see extremely well, sense tensions in the room, she could heal herself and everyone around her extremely well. Basically, she was some kind of super nurse.

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾"Gah!" I yelped when Hanabi was suddenly there. I was still invisible. This must've been a really weird sight to be watching. I sniffled a little bit and got myself back together when i said "Just having some adjusting issues. That's all.. Can you actually see me?" Because if she could, then she'd probably be the only one in the school who could. Most people can't.

"Yea, I can see your tears. Sorry if I scared you. I hope you will feel more at home soon." she said feeling sorry for Lilly. She placed her hand on Lilly's shoulder. "If anything comes up you can trust me." she said kindly.

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾And i knew then that i could. I'd only known her for about 10 minutes and i felt so close to her already. This place is so strange.
"Thank you.. So much. It's been a while since anyone has showed that much compassion to me." And then i started to re-materialize in front of her. Not fully though. I wasn't sure why. As i was wondering about my new power that Nyx had given me, i wondered what Nyx had given Hanabi. She obviously had some sort of strong gift; to be able to see me. "So.. Nyx gave you a gift? What is it? To see invisible people like me?" I sniffed and quietly giggled.

Hanabi smiled. "I've only been here a bit, but when i cut myself on a thorn, my wound automatically healed right before my eyes. So I guess for now I can see really well and can heal myself." she said. "You gift is really cool though." she laughed. "Becoming invisible would be an awesome way to sneak chocolate from the refrigerator." she said happily.

ʟιℓℓч_☽☾I gleam at her. She truely was unique. And i loved her for it. No, not a lesbian love, a friend love. I hate it when people try to fit in. Be mainstream and all that bullshit.
Never made sense to me, to be honest.
I laughed when she mentioned chocolate. "Hahaa.. You're so right! I love the stuff; can't live without it." And with that, i quickly disappear and run silently out of the room while i hear her giggling. I smile secretly to myself.
~*I creep into the kitchen/main room and open the cupboards one by one, hoping no one notices the doors open. I hit the jackpot with the cupboard to the top right of the sink. I instinctively look behind me. No one's noticed me, they're too busy watching tv. I see Emiko sat there with Anila and unintentionally growl. One of the girls that were sat closest to me turned and looked for the source of the noise. I grab the chocolate, slam the cupboard door shut and run back upstairs, bursting with giggles. My lapse over Finn had gone. He had gone.*~
I open the door and shut it quietly, making Hanabi jump without meaning to. I bet all anyone else could see is floating chocolate. She knew different. I re-appeared and chucked the chocolate on my bed, which she was still sat on and i sit opposite her. I giggle;- "Want some?"

Hanabi laughed. "Haha, yea, thanks!" she said taking a piece. " Being able to be invisible must be awesome, huh?" she said nibbling on her piece of chocolate. "If I tried doing that I would start giggling really loud and eventually get caught." she said laughing. "You my friend, are a natural born, ninja." she said smiling full of joy. I'm glad I'm roommates with her, shes really nice and fun to be around... she thought to herself.
