I think the fact that there's a countdown like that is rather pathetic but that's just me. I will watch the movies but not so much that I have to know how long until it comes out. I'll worry about that the day before when I stand in line for tickets.

XP I think the hype and hysteria is dying down. Hopefully this means it'll be dead by the time the shitfest (BD) hits the screens.

I hope so but it's doubtful. Also there is still huge talk about making BD into two movies like Harry Potter seven. Meyer says there is no possible way to condense it into one movie but there easily is. Nothing big really happens until the third part of the book. I mean first part have the wedding them arrive at Isle Esme then have a blackout showing they slept together or something then Bella realizing she's pregnant. Jake going to see her on a supposed quarantine bit and seeing how pregnant she is. Show a day or so of that and then skip to the birth. All that could probably be done in about 20-45 minutes in my opinion. Then have Edward bite her and the whole Vampiness bit goofing off in the forest nessie growing getting other vampires the anticlimactic confrontation and we're done. I think they can stuff that into two hours or if they have to make it three hours like Lord of the Rings.

I haven't even seen New Moon yet. But I'm much too excited for my 18th birthday (when I'll finally be able to legally consume alcoholic beverages!!) to be excited for Eclipse.

It's a whole lot of build-up to NOTHING. There is no climax, just some building tension and then a resolution. We're never left in doubt about anything because we know that Meyer MUST have a happy ending.

Exactly! I still say it would have been sooooooooo much better with a fight but no she can't kill off any of the Cullens.

I don't think that there's anything in BD worthwhile of being put into one movie, let alone two.
