Okay--I haven't read the books since before the first movie came out, so correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't the issue with Bella wanting pre-marital sex come up in New Moon, but was not discussed in the movie? Maybe that was Eclipse, but I believe the issue of sex came up at least once in New Moon...which makes me wonder, are they going to bring up how Bella wants sex from Edward in the movies? Should they, or do you think they should tone it down for the young audience that will be watching the movie? Does it make it okay to read but not watch? What are your thoughts?

══►They didn't discuss it until Eclipse, just before Edward proposed. Though yes, they are trying to tone it down for young audiences, they they most likely will talk about sex in Eclipse, as they did in the book.
══►The issue of whether they're making a Breaking Dawn though, is being discussed yet again. Taylor, Kristen, and Robert, as the few main actors, signed only a contract to complete three movies. Not to mention all the sex and the gory pregnancy scene within the book, which won't be as vivid as the discription-which even wasn't vivid whatsoever anyway.

Oh snap! How could they not finish the series? I think it's a bit strange to see how things transfer from text to screen. Something like the pregency and birth may have to be made very sci-fi movie-eske (if that makes sense) in order for it to not seem like a shock to younger viewers. It'll be difficult for sure. And I really don't know how anyone could possibly make that call.

I think they'll end up toning t down a bit for the movie... but with that make out scene that NEVER EVEN HAPPENED that they showed in Twilight, it gives me the impression that they might not tone it down a whole lot. Personally, I don't care much. The Twilight saga isn't for young children anyways, it's for young adults and adults.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cut out Breaking Dawn... even though they shouldn't. If you start the series, you have to end it. Plus, all of the fans would be wanting to see Bella and Edward's marriage, and all that follows. They'll probably end up toning down the gory pregnancy a lot, if they do keep it. She'll probably end up having a just above average pregnancy, then she'll be bit and they'll all be happy, blah blah.

All this is just guesses, though. I doubt they'll even keep Breaking Dawn.

Although -and some people might not like this example, but I don't care :3- The Harry Potter movies started out as something I watched when I was little... and the newer movies, even though they're PG-13, have been getting more and more dark and such, along with the books. I guess they aren't AS dark, but they still hold that feeling to them. Maybe they'll do that with Eclipse and Breaking Dawn?

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and find out, won't we?

Stephanie actually wants them to make Breaking Dawn like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and have the movie be split into two movies because she claims you can't tell the story of Breaking Dawn in one movie.

Hmm, really?
I think they could put Breaking Dawn into one movie... or rather, I don't know where they would put the break to divide it into two. Sure, it would be long, but the length doesn't matter much...as long as they portray the story correctly (which they won't of course, but we can always hope or something).
They'll probably end up actually doing that, though... "more movies means more money" is all they probably think about :I

I hope they make a movie to Breaking Dawn or the series would be incomplete since you need the ending to the story since I'm sure most people who start watching the movies want to see the ending to it. It would be like not making a movie to the last book of Harry Potter, you just couldn't have it.

Robert Pattinson has already signed on for a Breaking Dawn and I think Kristin has as well. I really wouldn't care either way if they made a movie of Breaking Dawn or they didn't. If they make it fine I'll go see it and get the DVD for my collection if they don't it's not big deal for me.

[[ FADING ]] . . . S A Y S - - !!

I don't know about the Breaking Dawn issue, but i think they're definately toning it down. Vanny_jae is probably right though, about the not toning it down a lot. If they're not afraid to stick a make-out scene, they probably aren't afraid for a little bit of pregnancy gore.

well if you notice there are going to probably be a new director for each movie. So I think that the new director or whoever ... will probably tell us.. In fact they can't really tone it down that much or else there will be noething left. I think Stephanie Meyer already toned it down.. She could have gotten more graphic if she really wanted to.

In her original manuscript it was a lot gorier and her editors and publishers told her to tone it way down.

It would really upset a lot of people if they didn't make Breaking Dawn. People are looking for excuses to hate on Twilight, that would be a bad move.

I for one was disappointed in the book when they didn't go more into the love scenes in Breaking Dawn. I hope they add a little more in the movie. I think they will
