I punched in the codes for the Danger Room. My suit shiny and clean as the afternoon sun hit it. I glanced around and prepared for the simulation.

Hope sat up in the control room, her usual hiding spot when trying to get out of afternoon training sessions outdoors, with her father. she ended up doing homework until she glanced down from the perch and saw kurt. she pushed the button down on the intercom and took a breath. " BOO!" her voice echoed off the walls down below where he was. she moved her hand away and leaned over the control board to look down..

"Ahhhhh!" I yelped in disarray. "Oh, you scared me," I continued. I teleported into the control room. "What are you doing up here?" I asked.
