Biography Before Death: Shoketsu was abandoned at the age of 7, and had to fend for himself by stealing what he needed to survive. One day when he was 19 a gang of thugs were harassing him and ended up beating up their leader who in returned killed him for beating their leader.
Biography After Death: After he was killed his spirit wandered the streets as he didn't know what else to do as he slowly watched the chain in his chest eat itself away. When the chain finally ate itself away Shoketsu began to turn into a hollow but the mask formed first as it covered his face large flash of light formed and Sho awoke to find himself with a Zanpakuto in his hand and the mask in his other.
