A small tremor of excitement had traveled up Akuryou's spine as he reformed through the shunpo; landing against the grassy patch of land near the center of the soul society. The area had already been designated a battle zone for shinigami, ranging from captains, to the unseated officers. The feeling of excitement had only grown stronger, even if the oncoming battle was not going to be to the death, Akuryou knew it would still be rather enjoyable. Giving the rather large area a quick glance around, Akuryou adjusted his body weight once again, unkowingly putting more pressure on his right leg, knowing it would only be a matter of seconds until our generations Kenpachi had shown.

The spiritual pressure in the air was crushing, not just for the lower ranking officers but even the captains found his spiritual pressure abit much. "You shouldnt keep one waiting, its so very rude." He had been laying on the roof of an abandond building, he sat up to glance down at the other captain. He soon stood, he stepped forward and his image flashed, it flashed again several feet infront of the man as he reapeared. "Hope you dont mind my starting in shikai, cant really help it, now lets begin shall we?" He was grasping his large sword with just his right hand, Daichi charged forward, "Lets hope you last long enough to see my Bankai brother." Daichi seen the man as a brother in battle, he seemed also driven by battle. He was poised for attack as he got closer.

Akuryou would have stood, as if unaffected by the pressure that now incased the area. "let's make this intresting" Akuryou's body had quickly twisted in a blurring motion, his arm rising upwards, unsheathing his sword in the process. A quick glint of the sun's ray's would have shined off the tip of akuryou's blade as it was now positioned at his side, tightly held in his grip as he also began rushing forward. "I wont even use my shikai!" Akuryou's image would have appeared to glitch as he continued his movements, vanishing into a high speed, only to reform a few feet ahead of where he left, doing this a number of times, closing the gap between him and his fellow captain. "We should only fight with the abilities the seated officers have!!" With each glitching movement, akuryou's voice would have seemed to echo throughout the area in a shattered manner. The ground seeming to crack with each step underneith the captains seemingly light weight.

Daichi grinned, "I can promise no Bankai for now, but expect the full power of Gekkouhime's shikai." He swung his large blade, the sword shooting from his hand and sinking into the ground, the chain coming from the sword's handle was wrapped around Dai's wrist. He slid, like a slide tackle, sliding by Akuryou. He flicked his wrist and came to his feet, aiming Gekkouhime to the sky, "Regret!" He slashed his sword towards the sky, a large purple blast of energy shooting into the sky, the blast had massive power. Almost instantly smaller blasts began to rain down over the area, it was hard to see but they hit fast. He was hoping dearly that the attack wasnt too much, it was the weakest version of it, though its fastest, almost impossible to see. Most used a shield to block this, or they dodged as much as possible.

With a swift movement, Akuryou had lowered his body close to the ground by the time the beam had been shot from Daichi's Zanpakutou. A quick breath of force had left akuryou's lips as his body seemed to only shimmer for a few miliseconds, before vanishing into the vast speeds of a shunpo. Unlike what most shinigami would have done in this situation, Akuryou did not try to dodge with his emmence speed, but rather flew upwards, nearly matching the rising beams velocity, but not entirely. His hand would have quickly rose up to the, just begining, rain of energy that his opponent had created, Akuryous mind having already gone through the situation. With a transfer of reishi into his hand, Akuryou quickly spoke as the 'rain' had gone into its full speed towards him. "HADO ICH! SHO!" Just as the first beam was about to strike against the seemingly, now motionless Akuryou, the basic kido had launched itself. This kido would have normally been used to merely move an enemy away from him, but with his unique way of thinking, the energy that had fired from Akuryou's hand would have insued a distorting effect. What happened next was simple, the energy like rain that was heading towards Akuryou had quickly broken apart due to the basic shinigami ability, creating somewhat of an umbrella effect to the few feet around Akuryou. The rest of the beams had hit against the ground in their blurred motion, creating small, yet deep craters. As Akuryou's body had seemed to catch up with himself, a footing would have been created in the sky just below the captains feet. With a quick flick of his wrist, Akuryou had spun his blade once, halting its movements directly at his side. His eyes would have instinctivly darted down to Daichi, as a smile had wrapped across his lips. "Was that it Daichi?!" He had called down with an unusual teasing tone.

Daichi didnt look happy at this display from the captain, as he landed he would recive a heated glare. "I'd have respected you more had you run away." He muttered lightly, it wasnt just about fighting for daichi it was how you fought for him. "Dont get too full of yourself." He warned. Daichi charged, he had great speed even without using flash step, "You'd better hope your fast." When it came to spirital pressure with his body he could compress it make it unnoticable with great ease, but when it came to his sword it was different, it seemed more potent in Gekkouhime. As he got within six feet of Akuryou he slashed his sword straight down, "Sorrow" Daichi's eyes glow light purple, he achieves great focus and the will to never stop, this greatly increases his spiritual pressure instantly. His left arm hanging at his side, he was clearly holding back, but that didnt mean his attacks couldnt kill the man.

Kushina Tanaka l Lieutenant l Silent Flower l Squad 11 l Kushina walked toward Kenpachi and another one of his battles. "Dai has gone and gotten himself into another fight I see. How does he keep doing it?!" she muttered to herself. She stopped by a tree refusing to go any further. A slight breeze blew her hair into her face, so she tucked it behind her ear. "I wonder how long this one will last!? she paused and sighed, "Probally awhile. Might as well as make myself comfortable and watch." Kushina sat down on her knees, resting her hands on her lap.

Knowing far too well never to underestimate a captain, Akuryou brought his arm up with much haist as Daichi's strike came down. Yet within the blurred movement, Akuryou had managed to let go of his sword, only to regrip the hilt tightly, upsidedown. The clash of the two weapons had sent a flurry of sparks into the air, along with a destructive pulse of reietsu which would have cascaded across the area, giving the ground a good shaking. Akuryou's arm had trembled for a moment, not due to the fact he could'nt hold his opponent back, but merely from the newly added force against his arm. Paying no mind to the young girl whom had just arrived, Akuryou quickly lowered his body along the imaginary ground that he stood upon. His hem of Akuryou's jacket had seemed to hover in its spot, unable to keep up with the captains movements. Like the flow of a river, Akuryou's movements appeared to be in perfect unison, for as he lowered his body, a powerful concentration of reietsu had engolfed the captains free hand. "I never get full of myself!" He had called, launching his fist forward, directed to the center of the opposing captain's chest; Knowing that if this punch had indeed hit its mark, the force behind it would have been enough to send the man flying across the sky. Yet if the countering punch were to be blocked, the tremendous power that Akuryou had managed to gather into his hand would be more then enough to simply shatter the bone in the area that was used to block.

Daichi had actually looked worried for a moment or two, almost hesitant, but it wasnt because of the fight. He just didnt want Kushina getting hurt, but with just seconds to react he would have to react to the girl last. "Sorrow!" He called out again, but this time a mass of energy quickly formed on his right arm, "Get her to saftey." He spoke softly, his right arm blocked the punch, his sword had vanished. Daichi held his right arm in its place to keep that unch from striking its target, he pushed forward hard to push the man back, he then charged. Apon close inspection one would notice the blood trailing to Dai's wrist, as he closed in he swung hard, fist clenched and aimed for the man's stomach, but the fist wasnt the threat the shield was.
Gekkouhime rushed towards Kushina, picking her up and giving her a scoulding look, "Your too close to the fight, your going to get hurt child!" She dashed off finding a high area at a safe distance that she could watch at. "Now stay put child." She set her down and ran off back towards the fight.

Kushina Tanaka l Lieutenant l Silent Flower l Squad 11 l As she was swept off her spot, to a place further away she became surprised. "I could defend myself anyways." she quietly muttered to herself. She stood on the spot where her captain had placed her, crossing her arms and looking cross. "Does he forget that I trained hard to get this rank on the squad?! I can handle that guy anyways!" she ranted to herself. Kushina then watched her captain return to his ongoing fight.

Akuryou would have quickly skidded back along the imaginary ground, keeping his firm base as he was pushed by the other captain. Quickly reacting to the oncoming fist, Akuryou, whom would have still had the firm grip against his upsidedown zanpakutou, thrusted his right arm forward, making sure that the hilts trajectory was towards the balled hand. If the hilt and the fist did indeed hit, the contact would have been of equalling strength, causing the punch to merely be canceled out.
After the hit would have been countered, Akuryou would have instantly thrusted his lower half forward, while extending his already rising knee, forming a high speed kick. Using his uncommonly trained spiritual pressure control, the captain had managed to layer his entire foot in a thick coating of energy. If the foot were to hit it's target, which would have been the general lower area of Daichi's abdomen, the force behind it would reactingly explode from the contact. The explosion of power would'nt provide an extensive ammount of energy, but more then enough to force the air out of another's body.

Daichi grinned he wasn't about to just stop, his hand opened and re-closed around the blade as it drove into his hand. His arm kept its momentum and swung upwards, the large shield aiming to hit the man's face, his grip was tight on the man's blade, he seemed true to his namesake during battle. His left hand opened, Gekkouhime reappeared chained to his left arm. "Your holding back come on, make this fun!" His voice bellowed through the area, his left arm slammed downward towards the man's kick, the flat part of the sword meant to block the kick.

As Akuryou's hand had been forced upward, his tight, near death like grip brought the still upsidedown blade with him; Having brought it in the rising motion, it would have caused the cool, sharp metal to ram against the oncoming shield, countering the attack with an accidental, yet still rebounding movement.
Using the concusive force that the sword and shield had made in that small moment, Akuryou had kept his footing, and body loose, which had allowed him to then skid backwards from the clashing forces, which would have slid him just out of the downward slashing sword.
"I know I am." Would have been the only thing that Akuryou had said before quickly lowering his body. The hem of the captains jacket would have seemed to trail behind akuryou as he brought himself into a low, moving, 360' rotation. Along the rotation, Akuryou had brought his body back, closer to Daichi's left side. With a perfectly balanced mix of spiritual pressure, and speed, Akuryou would have managed to blurr his arm through the air, the simple motion had possessed a speed so great, even the most keen of Captains would find trouble following the non-shunpou'd attack. Slashing his blade through the air, Akuryou had intended to create a decently sized gash on Daichi's left biscep.

((I have no clue how you "accidentally block" the attack like that, he was holding your sword in place, keeping it away from the shield. See you hold something in place and rotate your arm upward with its momentum, keeping the sword still and your arm moving. Plus with your body having forward momentum, your body and leg moving forward how do you just skid backwards, even more so while preforming a high speed kick? Also the downward "slash" you dodged was a block the flat part of a sword (the side) wasnt going to hurt you.))
Kenpachi Daichi let a smirk cross his face, the attack was fast but he could tell the general direction, besides he was far from slow. As the man's blade made contact there was a large cling sound as thier swords met, sparks flying, but Kenpachi hadnt even blocked. His sword which was the length of his body was chained to his left arm! ((Still.)) A little puddle of blood forming on the ground under his right arm, the shield would fade he no longer wanted it. He jumped back a few feet, out of the reach of Akuryou's blade, but still close enough to make dodging difficult, like he had been the entire fight. He unchained his sword, gripping the chain which he began to twirl, making his large sword spin through the air at an angle but Akuryou was still in its path, it was moving at an incredible pace and hadnt even compleated one rotation yet, as the man was in its path.

(( I am sorry if you dont understand, but read your post over. You do not specify that you brought my 'arm' up with out moving my sword, all you said was that you continued with the momentum, and swung up, which would in reality bring my arm into the air sence you did not say you swung with your opposite arm. Second, the reason i skid back, was because the force of the 'shield' that you had managed to manifest out of no where in the previous post, had struck against my sword (which was brought up with my arm), and sence Akuryou was keeping the rest of his body loose as he tried to kick, the force pushed him back. Which in turn, caused the slash to miss. And i know that the 'slash' that you were doing wasnt going to hurt me, thats just usually what i put when i am refering to a sword movement.))
Akuryou would have felt the cold, cool metal of his opponents now spinning weapon dig into his left collar bone, causing his blood to whip out, flying down to the ground which was still far below. Though Akuryou's first reaction time had been lacking, he then mangaed to stumble backwards before the sword had time to make another gash along his flesh. Having now been out of the swords path, Akuryou quickly reassembled himself mentally, the grip along the hilt of his zanpakutou had instantly tightened.
With a quick murmer of a few needed words, Akuryou had brought his left palm up, managing to keep it still out of the opposing swords path. "Bakudo Kyu Geki!" ('Way of Binding number 9, Strike') By the time that the spinning weapon would have begun its 3rd rotation, an excess ammount of red light would have flowed from Akuryous palm, forming an extending arm made of pure reietsu. The red arm's speed would have had rivaled his enemy's own rapidly spinning weapon as it extended. Akuryou had planned on the high speeds of the geki to grip the fellow captain around his torso, knowing that if it where indeed to touch, or grip his enemy, that the kido's effect would take hold near instantaniously, flowing paralisis into Daichi.
Once the kido had wrapped around Daichi, Akuryou would have pushed off the imaginary ground at his feet, which would have inturn, forced him into a shunpo. Using the great speeds of a shunpo, he would have used that moment to create a large distance between the two. Only to slowly yet surely begin to layer his upper body in a coating of reishi. As if prepairing for a much larger offensive strike.
