Ok, everyone already know the story. Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica before they ever made their first album. While he was in the band, he wrota a song called Mechanix. But when he was fired, he never took back what he needed to, to be sure that his song wouldnt end up on Kill em all. Either way, it ended up on Kill em all, released in 1983. 2 years later, 1985, Megadeths first album "Killing is my busisness... and business is good" was released. On the album is Mechanix. Basically the music is almost the same on both songs. Though, megadeths is faster, and The lyrical content are different. Metallica's "Four horsemen" are about a section in the book of Revalations. Megadeths "mechanix" are about when Dave Mustaine worked in an auto shop and fantizised about nailing the rich women that would come in looking to get their vehicle repaired.
Overall, which is better: Metallica's "The Four Horsemen"? OR Megadeth's "Mechanix"?

Definitely Mechanix. Faster, better intro, better solo, funnier lyrics. The lyrics in Mechanix are cheesy and fun. Four Horsemen lyrics are cheesy and dumb. 'Deth is all around better.

I love Metallica to deth', but I love Megadeth's Mechanix even more... even "Mechanix" on the "No Life 'Til Leather" album wasn't as good as Megadeth's version.
