This bridge is set up exactly like the Combat bridge, minus the weapon's controls. In normal operation, there is a pilot that controls all the movement of the ship. This pilot has to be highly skilled in all aspects of ship movement. There are also controls to the shields, incase of a surprise attack. The Captians chair is on a system that brings it from the Combat bridge to the Pilot bridge and vice verse.

((Thought I post here once already....))
"Coming out of Gate tunnel now sir." The man standing at the main view port observed the the surrounding stars once they reappeared in view. "Very good, prepare to enter areosyncronis orbit with the planet." This man was obviously in charge of the whole operation. "Entering orbit now." The pilot says, after a few minutes of fine tuning.
"Prepare my shuttle, you're new Captain should be here at anytime. Make sure everything is in ship-shape." The man strode off the bridge, heading for his private shuttle to the planet's surface.

Armorius made his way to the airlock as the shuttle docked with the massive ship, and stepped off to a single saluting soldier who started to lead the way to the bridge. He followed suit with his twi techs following. The flight though interesting was long and left him reading the entire manual for the colossal mobile base.
When he reached the Bridge he looked over the crew then made his way to the captains chair and ran a hand along it, excited and shocked that he was there. He recovered quickly and told the entire deck to stand at ease. He then began orders, his techs moving to the hangar, and Alfima Chied Engineer of the Mecha bays. He then went to the captains Quarters and sent a message down to the planet base alerting the general of his arrival.

Down on the planet, Ermor received Armorius's message of his arrival. So, he sent a message back to the new Captain.
"Good work, Armorius, glad to see you made it. Make sure you try to learn as much as you can about the ship, there is alot of information about it. Also, the Jupiter Class is fairly new. Thats only the second ship created, and there are only 3 more slated to be built." Ermor paused in the message, thinking quickly. "By the way, I've not seen the ship myself besides the technical drawings. I think a visit is in order, I'd like to see if the Astral Hawk is ready for active duty."
Ermor cut the transmission and headed off to the Space Port to commission a shuttle for himself.

(( yeah, I got that too. I'll await the next post in the dock I suppose I suppose. I posted here first as opposed to to posting twice one in the dock and next here.))
Armorius checked his messages as he ran through the technical data. He was glad to hear from the general, and instantly sent orders from his desk to crew men that A general would be on board.
He then sent instructions to the Mess hall to prepare a formal Dinner. Then slipped out of his Office and rode the elevator and then a built in tram to the docking bay area.

Armorius stood at the bridge near the captain's chair looking over data on the main screen. Then he turned around as several Holos of key Personel on the ship lit up. " Alfima, Jane, Dorian. Nice to see you all. " They all soluted and gave reports on ship systems and he stroked his chin as he thought. " The new Ship I want designated Dreadnaught. I want it as battle ready as possible for the oncoming battle. I also Want Project STEED to continue here Alfima you will head that. The Astral Hawk will transport and support the Army from the points designated. I want all beam cannons an turrets ready and missiles primed. Alfima Prepare Weisse Ritter, and have it transported to Dreadnaught."
He thought a moment more before talking taking in the looks on their faces. " I want the maiden voyage and first battle to go smoothly and not at all like Titanic for those of you who aced History. Prep 40 fighters mixed Jane and as many of the commandos as you can. Also prep the tractor beams for salvage. I'm counting on you all. Get started." HE soluted them as they did then they blinked out of sight as they went to do their jobs things should be ready soon.

Ermor entered the bridge, using his override card on the security lock to open the door. Walking over to the main console, he slid in a small laserdisk into the drive and opened the files on it. This set up the nav computer with the proper coordinates and also removed the orbit lock on the Astral Hawk's systems. He quickly tapped a few keys, telling the ship's docking computers to reject any more docking requests and also shutting the blast doors on the hangar bays.
Down below, the Drive Crystal began drawing power, aligning itself on the invisible strings that lined space. The main engines igniting, the Capital ship moved itself from orbit and starting to draw it nearer to the jump point. When the ship reached the point, the jump drive activated and blasted into Jump space, removing it from the known universe at high speed.

After a few hours of travel, the Astral Hawk comes out of Jump space. It came to a gentle burn, heading towards Mars itself. Mars was a red and blue orb floating in space, the blue was the water that had surfaced with the teraforming.
The ship itself came to full alert, as the enemies were already positioned. They wouldn't attack until they were attacked, as they didn't really realized what was happening.
"All hands, report to your battle stations. We are at full alert at the moment. Ermor out" After Ermor had made this announcement, he headed out towards the mech hangar bay to get prepared.
