I'm sorry, but every English version of a Rammstein song originally in German (for example, Engel, Du Hast, Amerika) make me cry inside. I understand that they don't speak English fluently and all, but the English versions aren't all that great. I don't remember how the English Engel goes, but I do know that the Du Hast and Amerika English versions are hardly anything at all like the German originals, lyrically, and aren't as lyrically complex and skillfully done imho.

I think the English version of Du Hast is kind of badass, actually. Everyone loves originals. And I don't like the English of Amerika, because it kind of lost it's intended level of mockery.

I've only heard the english version of Engel...and it was awful. I think their problem was that they were doing very direct translations of the lyrics, so they didn't really fit the rythem of the song. Maybe, had they played around a bit more, they could've found a way to sing the lyrics in English that would fit better.
