This game was and still is my all time favorite RPG I've ever played, and my favorite in the FF series. The only thing that was better was the re-release of the same game for the PSP. They added cg movie cut scenes, which were EPICBEYONDALLREASON, and new 'jobs' and characters. You could also battle your friends on the PSP version. I'm not gonna lie, I had a few tears when I played Tactics the first time back in the day. That leads me into a little branch off of this thread's topic.
What was your favorite FF moment?

My favorite FF moment that brought a tear to my eye was in Tactics at the moment when Algus (the character's old name, I don't like the new one they made in the PSP version) shot Teta at Ziekden Fortreess with a cross bow. It began to snow, and the music stopped, I was SHOCKED. That moment was epic, and even more when we later find out that she saved her brother from certain death.

The only final fantasy game I've played besides FFXI was FF7 (first disc only, but my sister beat the game and I watched), and I was bought FF Tactics and tried to play it but had problems with the controls and slowness so gave up right away and never tried again. The only other games I seriously "played" before that was Spyro the Dragon (1st and 2nd game), Pokemon Red Version and DiabloII and Mario Bros Original razz My favorite game moment was at the end of Spyro when you can free-fly. My friend rented the recent Spyro game and you can free-fly the whole time, it's awesome! My sister was more of a gamer than me, she played FF8 and FF9 and other games, but I rarely watched.

My favorite FF is IX I loved the story and how they brought back the old style FF from I, II, III, and IV. I like VI,VII, and VIII but I wasn't much much for the Fan-boy trio. I haven't played V but I heard it was the same style as the originals. Plus, I prefer a medieval type setting to the futuristic ones.

FFIX and FFT are easily my favorites. The ONLY complaint I had with IX is that Beatrix wasn't really a party character XD Otherwise I loved the story, characters, world, chocobo minigames, how your characters lvled and grew the way they did... Just lots of love lol. Tactics is up there because it does have a great story, and I absolutely love the job system. I do wish all jobs were created equal though, but honestly some classes make the game a little too easy lol. In the PSP remake I actually had to try to not win too fast so I could gain JP razz

My favorite moment? Uh... maybe I'm a bit of a tool, but I think the end of XIII was probably my favorite on terms of emotion.
Although... the entire time I played Final Fantasy Tactics and XII, it was like I was riding a super fast roller coaster. So... three favorite moments? Except Tactics and XII were like two giant moments to me? I don't know...

I got to the end of Chapter 11 in FFXIII and I quit >.> I know, silly right? I should just beat it, but I don't want it to be over T.T

Nah, I don't find it to be too silly. I pretty much did the same thing in VII and VIII. I got to the point right before the last area of the game for each, and just stopped. I couldn't bring myself to go any farther.
I do want to add that I feel like beating XIII was extremely rewarding. It just gave me a sense of accomplishment and relief as if I were a character in the story. So I would recommend going back to it sometime. Maybe you'll have the same experience I did? *shrug*
