Before I was marked I used to hate the thought of blood. I had a amazing boyfriend named Kevin. He was tall had black hair that flipped up in the front. He was strong and a football jock. My life was perfect. When I was marked that changed for me completely. My Best Friends turned there back on me. I still was trying to hold on to my boyfriend who said the day before I was marked that he was in love with me! He said that he didn't love me any less than he did then. heart heart heart It was amazing it mad the whole change school and blood thing go a lot smother. I when out of school to meet up with him when he feel and cut himself, that is when the stupid blood lust kicked in. So I drank his blood. It was the most wonderful thing I have every tasted or felt. I felt really embarrassed when my ex-best friend saw what we were doing. She tried to get him embarrassed of it to but by then he loved me to much. Kevin is still my boyfriend today but with some complications.

I was with my boyfriend in the lunch room when it happend.
This guy was right in front of the lunch room doors!
I knew he was a tracker because of his mark. We were talking it up and laughing when my best friend saw him. She told every one to be quiet the whole lunch room got very quiet and scared. He locked eyes with me and I knew he was there for me. You wouldn't guess what was going through my mind at that moment. I tought "no not now when every thing is perfect! Will my friends not want to be my friends anymore? What would Kevin think? He just told me he was in love with me! NOT NOW!!! WHY ME!!!" I ducked behind my boyfriend and tried to hide. But the guy already saw me and thats all it took. He said my name and marked me! Infront of everyone in the school!!!! I felt a pain in my forehead that was like a major head injury but x10!!! Then he said that if i don't go to the house of night I will die and pain full death. He left and then all hell broke lose! My best friend screamed and said "Why you I now hate you!" the last 4 words hurt like hell!! Everyone was screaming and I was choughing like hell. I ran from the lunch room sobing! Kevin ran after me and because he was fast he almost chought up to me but because I was a fledling now i was faster! He told me to wait and I slowed. Then stoped and screamed "why do you even care now I am a stupid vampire! then I cused a lot! He said in a calm voice "That doesnt mater to me you are still you!" That stoped me from crying than he say the tears fill up he picked me up and caried me to his parents car! As he was carring me I sobed so hard till I couldn't cry anymore and I was just shaking! His parents came rushing up to us and took me home. (Kevin was getting picked up for the rest of the day anyway and the teachers didn't care about me anymore! I passed out by the time we got to my house. My mom was off work today. Kevin asked my mom and his parents if he could stay till I got up. They said it was ok.

My head was like a drum beat pounding in my head! I woke up and was in a dark room there was this strange light that looked like a person. I focused on it. It came closer and I say it was the goddess of Nyx! She said "Hello my child" I could barly say hello back to her i was in to much pain! She looked at me and saw i was in pain she took my head gently and maid the pain go away!! I was so happy! It only heart a little. The goddess explained a lot of stuff to me and told me to never give up hope. Then I fell back to little bit more peacfull sleep.

I woke up again butthis time i woke up in my boyfriends arms. Kevin felt me sterr and he put me down on the couch. He put my head in his lap and just sat there saying "it's ok your going to be ok" When I finaly opened my eyes My mom screamed because I moved my head. Mom exclamed "Kayla look at your mark!" Mom went to go get a something to look at the mark. I saw it and gasped the Crescent Moon was filled in and it had more of a outline of a full moon. When things setteled down I went for a quick walk with Kevin. We kissed one last time and he told me he was still in love with me and it didn't matter what I was. I had a terrible cough that pained me every time I coughed so Kevin took me home. When we got back to the house I packed my things an got into the car for the House Of Night. I said good by to Kevin and said that i will have my phone with me and on at all times. I got into the car and left. Now here I am at the House Of Night!!
