A defect, no matter how small is a defect. A rip or tear, a hole or gap.... no matter the shape or size can always invite trouble. Somewhere on the outskirts of the universe, such is the case. A small star, hardly even born becomes cracked in the wake of some pure and raw energy that flows across time and space.

"Do you feel that?"
"Neh? Feel what?"
"..... That."
"Yea... Yea I do. So what?"
"So.... So," A shadowy figure moves within a confined space, the sound of chains rattling. "So, the time draws nearer to our freedom"

So a strange epidemic has hit the world, where people rave for hours after they sleep, and then slip into a trance like coma, just to come out again for more raving. Which in turn tires them out and puts them back to sleep. The government claims they have it all in hand, so what is one to do? Try and get on with their normal lives. So that is exactly what Usagi/Serena and her friends do. Of course they are worried about the current state things are in, but what can they do, its not like its a threat from the kind of foes they are use to facing, right?

At this time, young Chibiusa/Rini has once again come for a visit. She is a bit more interested in this epidemic than the others, as she has looked through the records back at her home and found nothing of this event ever happening. (She popped home for info and then came back) During her stay, Chibiusa/Rini suddenly starts having the strangest dreams herself. Mostly of Crystal Tokyo... but warped. Instead of the bright and shining future that she remembers, it is dark and absorbs all light and warmth. It is only when she is notices a hooded figure in her dream that she begins to suspect that this is no earthly bound matter.

Still having the dreams, and each night trying to track down and see whom the figure is, Chibiusa/Rini lets the others senshi in that she thinks the world is in trouble. Trouble from a foe that not even the future can recall.

Then, during one dark and misty night, while the senshi were hanging out, Chibiusa/Rini slips into a trance and begins to sleep walk. Worried, the others follow her to a deserted construction site. Once they catch her, she snaps out of it and points up towards one of the half built sides of the tower. "They're here..." is all she can say before a lash of black energy rips through the air and knocks them all back.

Up on the tower, sililoquied by the full moon stand two masked figure, clad in the uniforms of Senshi. One stands on a higher pier, sideways with their arms crossed and looking up towards the sky. The other lower one, stands like a body guard with their hands on their hips.
"Welcome my little poppets, to my nightmare."

~insert long introductions, interesting battle, villians escape, girls go home and try to figure out foe... bla bla blah.~

The epic final battle, between Sailor Moon and her friends vs the 'Anti-Scout' Sailor Nexus and the equily strange Sailor Suxen has begun. The groups are evenly matched (some of our heros have fallen victum to Nexus's dream/nightmare spell. Most notably Mars, Uranus, and Jupiter. Neptune could not bear the though of leaving Uranus as she seems to be suffering the most, thrashing about like she was being tortured. Mercury is monitering them to hopefully try and pull them out. That leaves Sailor Moon, ChibiMoon, Venus, and Pluto. Saturn is ready as back up if need be.)

During this battle we learn Nexus's true motives, to slip into and store 'data' within every mind within the solar system of 'herself' and Suxen, so to later on use as a mind control to take over. 'She' has no real interest in stealing powers or crystals or lifeforces like previous villians. Also mistakenly leaks a bit about their masks being their power source.....

~insert dramatic enterence of the masked male with a pep talk and tells the gals the masks are key, (xD) fighting continues. Suxen's mask get cracked (got hit instead of pulled off by ChibiMoon) and disappers in a flash of dark pinkish light, leaving Nexus alone and outnumbered. Using the power of the remaining scouts that arnt affected by Nexus (Mental mind blocks locked their powers) Sailor Moon launches a final attack at her foe. Just before the attack hits, Nexus rips off 'her' mask and throws it infront of 'her' The mask is vaporized, and Nexus vanishes into the night.


Next day people start comming out of their trace/comas and remember nothing of ever being in one or raving... except for the Senshi. Their memories remain uneffected. Everything goes back to normal.... except for Haruka/Amara. She cant shake this uneasy feeling that they are being watched... by many many eyes.

Some time has passed since the dream epidemic. Things seem pretty calm for our girls, Chibiusa/Rini has returned home for the present. Our favorite ladies are relaxing in a small cafe when the waiter comes over to take their order. While most of the girls are stunned, Haruka/Amara goes ridged and jumps up like she was getting ready for a fight. The man infront of her gave her a very uneasy feeling. He was very good looking, which is what caught the eye of the others, but a little too much. He seemed almost feminine in apperence. And while he may have just been the server, there was an air about him that seemed to radiate only to Haruka/Amara that he was better and above everyone else. Almost like he was from a distant planet that was far more advanced......

Later we find out the the man's name is Erebus. He just moved there just as the epidemic closed. He was suppost to arrive together with his family, but a majority of them could not get their affairs back home finished in time. So him and his identical twin came on ahead. Of course, due to a family matter, the twin had to return, leaving Erebus here by himself, lonely and with no friends. (>D)

As the days go on, the girls start to get closer to Erebus due to this exotic aura that he gives off that they dont remember ever seeing or feeling before. That is, everyone but Haruka/Amara. She is shortly join in her distrust by Mamoru/Darien as Erebus seems most interested in Usagi/Serena.

~annoying little scenes of no importance, Mamoru/Darien at one point corners and confronts Erebus (jelious much? xD), Erebus states that he has no romantic interest in the girl/girls what so ever, mainly just to observe them and get to know them as they are unlike anyone he has ever met before. (pokepoke)~

Flash, Chibiusa/Rini returns with dire news... looks like the 'Dream War'(what that battle was going to be recorded as) isnt over. She was a little bangged up, like she had just been in a fight. After resting, she tells them all about how Sailor Suxen had returned, but this time in the future to try and steal her mothers crystal, to resurect Nexus's powers. Nexus was powerless scout wise, but was imortal due to some crazy bond in blood to Suxen. Suxen was also not alone, there were five other 'Anti-Scouts'.... and some strange glowing red orb that hissed alot and barked orders.( ninja )

The girls stop seeing Erebus for a while, mostly because he stops showing up to meet, and they have more pressing matters. They try to piece together what they know and what Chibiusa/Rini has brought back for them. While talking about it in the fading daylight of the park, the group gets attacked by none other than Suxen and the new gang of 'Anti-Scouts'. The orb was no where in sight, but they didnt let their guard down.

~insert interesting fight... bah blah blah~

Sailor Moon is about to get blasted by a 'six way' attack (all the attacks were comeing from the same direction, but were six different powers meshed together into one super beam), when she is pulled to the side to safty. The saver... none other than Erebus. Sailor Moon starts to lecture him about being there when he suddenly kisses her. This was of course a distraction.... so that he could get at his real goal, her crystal. As soon as she relised this, Sailor Moon tryes to pull away. But it was too late, Erebus's fingers close around the pendent. From where the two touched, Erebus's body began to drape itself in cloth, almost like water being poured into an empty container. While the pattern was unknown at first, it soon became noticeable when a mask began to form on his face. Erebus was infact Sailor Nexus. With a swift kick, Sailor Moon was able to pull free, but not before Nexus had absorbed enough power to atleast regain his old strenght and then some.

~insert some more interesting battle, Nexus remains untouched due to absorbing too much power. He cant even control it himself, so the force field not only shields him from attack, but makes him his own prisoner.~

Many of the 'Anti-Scouts' are defeated. They are still alive, just bound and/or uncontious. One managed to slip away but Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus went after them. The other scouts surround Nexus whom is still trapped. While they debate on what to do with him, the three ladies return with the runaway. The runaway, getting pulled nearer to the group starts to cough as she gets closer to Nexus. Suddenly a small red orb pops out of her mouth and goes flying towards Nexus. No one seems to be able to stop it, it phases right though them. A malevolent voice can be heard, laughing in joy.

The orb passes right through the shield (shattering it) and hits Nexus. As toon as it does, his body begins the same wrapping/clothing thing that it did earlier, but this time it looks like a red liquid, almost like blood and fire.(if the two could mix) Nexus's entire outfit changes, as does his mask. From a full faced mask to only half (the half of his face that becomes exposed becomes engulfed in an inky blackness), the birthing of the newest and most powerful 'Anti-Scout' has been competed. The rise of Sailor Phoenix. With a thrust of his he knocks back all the good Senshi. With a flick of his wrist, long red threads come from his fingertips and strech over to his own group. Once they all connect, all the 'Anti-Scouts' burst into flames and disapper.

The Senshi know this is not the end....
