[ Bah. I SAW THIS COMING FROM A MILE AWAY. D< ] Suzy waited in the dome, counting the stripes on her leg. It was a pretty dull way to pass the time, and she really wanted Naz to come and... you know, do something.

Wonderful...It just had to be her. Grudges outside the guild aside, Scribbler raised her brush to her forehead in an impromptu salute before crouching down in a defensive stance.
Suzy was the first on the offensive, striped feet blurring into grey as she made a charge towards the inkmancer with rosaries brandished. Scribbler pulled up a screen of black fluid, letting it take the first of the strikes. The mime would not be deterred, though, dashing around it while the inkmancer was busy keeping up the shield--
Bam. Foot to the jaw.
Scribbler tumbled to the ground, and the whistle blew. Strike one.

[ I'm going for a walk, but I figured that I may as well roll. ] Sure, Naz and Suzy hated each other. But that wasn't an excuse not to fight! If anything, it made the fight more... personal. So maybe Suzy was trying too hard to make this painful for Naz. It would be smarter to just end it. But it was hard to resist the urge to make this as painful as possible. Suzy rushed Naz, but wasn't happy to findan ink squid monstrosity throwing her across the dome, landing in the dirt with a thud.

[Okay! I'll edit this when you come back, then. :3]
The squid reared, hissing at the downed mime...and became a many-tentacled terror at the inkmancer's sudden gesture. The oozing plant-being snarled, cackling madly...and made for Suzy, black tentacles reaching for the stripy mime, intent on digestion and violation.
Mother had made its return in slick pigmented form.
When it had pinned her down, though...Scribbler transformed it into a holding block of jello. It wasn't time yet.
No, it wasn't time.

[ Behold, the power of spork versus Jell-O! ... Please? ] Suzy took a deep breath, and started burrowing through the jello. It was simple enough, with the power of her spork! At long last, the mime had managed to get all the way to the edge, taking a huge breath of air. "Did - did you really think that would work?" she laughed, sliding out of the jello with a sickening sucking sound. "Now, let's fight person to person, shall we?" Suzy asked calmly, flicking bits of jello off of herself.

In hindsight, maybe it wasn't the best idea to choose jello as the holding substrate...but what's done was done. She'd just have to get up and plow through it again, right?
So thought the inkmancer, feet braced against the sands, brush trying to invoke some sort of more fearsome beast or at least distract the mime running straight at her--
But too slow, it seemed. One punch knocked the brush from her grasp, a kick relieved her of her sketchbook...and the third was a brutal suckerpunch that left Scribbler with a distinct lack of air.
The whistle went again, giving the round to Suzy. The inkmancer hoped that the ink-jello gave her indigestion.
[for some bizarre reason I had the mental image of Suzy eating her way out. e_e;]

[ -throws hands in the air- I WIN! I WIN! The suspense is over! ] Without any sketchbook, Naz was forced to resort to her dagger. In melee combat, unfortunately for Naz, Suzy was the better fighter. For every one hit Naz got in, Suzy got in three - and Naz should be glad that Suzy didn't poison her spork. Both combatants were bloody from tip to toe, and Naz finally gave into blood loss, collapsing in the sand. I win again," Suzy whispered in her ear.
