Here is where all the business, work files, medical files, and orders are processed by the captain himself. Special permission is required to enter and speak with him & all visitors must be escorted by the vice-captain.

Satoshi sat behind his desk & began to rummage through some files & binders. He then pulled out 2 folders, several pictures, and a few things Tai had left right before he was disbanded as a captain in the seireitei. "This is all I have. Taihiko had been the captain of two squads before he was dismissed. I don't know who the last person was to see him..." Sato walked over to the bookshelf & pulled out a box. "This was the original battle-torn haori from the 1st war that he dropped." Sato handed the tattered robe to Niko.

Ishteada was still not sure exactly what was going on and childishly rummaged through the office, picking things up that wasnt hers and examining it then putting it in wrong places. She didnt drink that often because of the effect it had on her.
She could feel some tension between the two though Sato was helping the young man in his quest to find and kill his father apparently.

Kuromaru  Niko took his fathers old robe and let it hang from his clenched fist. "So he was quite the shinigami... Taichou of two different squads... This matters not Satoshi, I'm going to kill him." he said harshly. His vendetta was unfaliable. He looked to the drunken fukutaichou with a smirk "You'd better sit her down somewhere Isamu Taichou." with that said Niko vanished from the office via shunpo. Trails of red static evident in the blur left behind from his shunpo..

Satoshi held Ishteada close to help control her balance. "You have had quite enough darling..." He watched Niko leave the room, a tad confused & slightly intrigued by the drive of hatred towards Tai by his own son. "I need to find Taihiko before he does.....for the sake of Niko's life.....*sigh*"

"Your friend's son..?" She half asked, half stated what she came to know in her drunken manner. She tried falling back down a few times but was held up by Satoshi rather well. "I'll follow you whichever path you take.." She randomly said to him, feeling comfortable with him around.

"Niko Kuromaru, the Hachibantai Taicho & son of my best friend. He has grown so much, I never expected such level of intensity from him." Satoshi replaced all his files back in their rightful places & sat Ishteada down. "I may need your help on this one. Despite not knowing much about the situation, you will be of great need in due time. I'm going to find Taihiko Kuromaru."

"I'll help you.." She said softly, unsure of the trouble it could make her be in but knew that if the captain thought the man was a good person and friends with him then he was. "He wants to kill him though..Are we going to become enemies..?"

"Thank you, fukutaicho." Satoshi sat in his chair & gazed out the window, thinking about the decision he just made. The question Ishteada asked about Niko & him becoming enemies ran through his mind. He didn't know how to answer that properly. "If it comes down to myself & Niko Taicho engaging in combat, then so be it. I can only tell him so much to make him understand that he isn't going to find his father easily, & if he somehow manages to do so....that beating him is another task in itself. I'm going to find Taihiko. First."

Ishteada had fallen asleep soon after that conversation, taking up residence at one of the couches in his office and sleeping quite silently. She was obviously a light drinker, having never gotten to the right age when she was living on earth but living in Italy, she had her fair share of wine then.
Things have happened pretty fast since becoming vice captain, getting to know the captain with a few drinks and food, meeting what seemed to be a rival of his, and learning of a dark secret that could get him in trouble here.

Satoshi watched the slightly drunken vice captain of his nod off to sleep. He used this as an advantage to change out of his chill clothes & into his workout gear. He stripped of his jacket, revealing his slim but toned torso. Replacing his toplessness with his vest & haori jacket, then changing out of his boots into his tabi's. He hoped that Ishteada didn't take see anything, although in a way he wouldn't have minded if she did...

Ishteada was a happy sleeper, not waking to watching the clothes changing of Satoshi but rather laying there with a content smile. Drinking always sets her off into a childish attitude and ends with peaceful sleeping, maybe only then was she truly at peace with the world and how it stole her friends from her and then her life at a early age.
