Far from the village, Chaos stood on top a boulder in the middle of a canyon. Chaos had both his eyes closed and his arms crossed. He was wearing his belted outfit but with an odd sleeveless jacket and a large steel gantlet on his left arm. He also had two swords on his belt and four large scrolls on his back. In all directions around him, lay countless skeletons and rusted weapons as if a large war had happened here a to long time ago. Chaos seemed to be waiting for someone or something...

Azure, the former Second and a leader of the Ichijin, was seen walking toward the entrance to this canyon hours after Chaos arrived. It seemed to be a twist of fate that brought the two together for another battle. Azure wore inconspicuous traveling clothes. He almost looked like a peasant going to market with his earth-tones and straw hat. He was relatively clean though, so that gave him away.
He tipped his hat up as he passed under the sides of the canyon, the sun blocked by their angle. His golden eyes, like a hawk or cat, peered through the partial gloom to the boulder where an individual sat, fully decked out for battle. The wind kicked up just a tiny bit, but enough to send a tiny dust devil across the distance between them. It dissipated harmlessly as it ran into the boulder. There was silence.

Chaos looked over at his foe and turned towards him. Chaos then ran his hand through his hair before jumping down onto the earth before Azure. His metal gantlet was more visible now, it had an odd seal on the palm of it and ten sockets on the back of it. The silence remained for a moment before Chaos finally spoke. "It is good to see you once more... White Winged Angel of Gaioh..."

"I have been gone for some time it seems."
Azure noted as his eyes drifted across the many assortments of weapons and tools Chaos seemed to possess.
"You have some new toys."
He said as he took off his straw hat and dropped it to the ground.
"It has also been a long time since I saw you last."

"Yes. I have many new toys." Chaos said as he pulled out from his jacket a handful of what appeared to be white marbles that he started to place in the sockets of the gauntlet. In each of the marbles was some odd three dimensional seal. "It has been a long time hasn't it. My, the time sure does fly doesn't it?" Chaos finished placing the spheres in his gauntlet and put the rest of them back in his jacket. He then flexed his hand a bit to make sure the gauntlet was in check.

"It does."
Azure replied as he began to take his traditional fighting stance. His left leg slightly in front of the other, his left arm slightly in front of his right. His body slightly turned to the side in order to reduce the hit-space from the front. His short golden hair ruffled in the slight breeze. His eyes slowly moving toward a determined, battle-conscious stare.
Silence again.

Chaos took note of his foes changed stance and nodded. Chaos drew one of his swords with his right hand and took a fighting stance as well. Chaos shifted his body so his left side of his body was facing azure. His left hand was up to the center of his chest, the open palm facing Azure. His right hand held his sword low, the tip of the blade dragging across the earth. "Let us see if you remember my sword style..." Chaos said as his feet began to dig into the earth below, he then suddenly dashed forward. Chaos was much faster than before but yet, he still wasn't ungodly fast. His sword scrapped across the ground as he prepared to slash upward at his foe.

Azure stepped back with a tiny scuffle, most likely avoiding the slash by mere inches. Moving the blade from the ground to the head was a little slower than if one slashed from the waist. The whiff of the blade as it sliced through the air was like a song all its own.
Azure's right hand thrusted forward as he scooted back. The wind picked up as his hand came forward. Semi-visible tendrils of air and dust swirled from the outside to around his palm, forming a half-circle barrier of sorts. His gusty punch moved with the intent to collide with Chaos' sword, buffeting it away.

Chaos's sword collided with the gust of wind pushing it back slightly protecting Azure but giving Chaos an opening he was looking for. Chaos pulled his left hand back with the slash and once his blade was up in the air after the attack, Chaos thrusted his left hand forward. It was a palm thrust but yet it was much more. One of the spheres in the gauntlet faded to a dull gray and with that a gust of wind formed in the palm of Chaos's hand. The wind blasted forward creating an opening into Azure's shield. With that opening Chaos brought his blade down and slashed upward at Azure in the opposite direction of the first.

Blood splattered a bit on Azure's left arm as he was sent reeling backward. Azure's defense had shattered with the introduction of Chaos' special gauntlet. A shallow cut had formed on the damaged arm where the sword had grazed it.
Azure was stunned. How was Chaos able to cancel out his attack? Since he had no visible weapons, Azure would have to resort to ranged attacks to counter Chaos' swordplay.
Azure began to draw himself backwards, an inch or so off the ground, as if he were sliding on invisible ice-skates. He was trying to gain a little distance on his foe. Only then would he be safe.
Trying to buy some time, the same gust of wind quickly reformed again around his right hand. Although this time he pitched the sphere forward. The tendrils that made the sphere split up, forming into vine-like apparitions. They careened across the field to strike Chaos, whom was most likely in pursuit. Sharp talons of cyclone winds made to tear flesh and cloth.

"Hmph." Once more a sphere on the gauntlet turned gray and Chaos unleashed another jutsu. This time he swung his hand downward creating a shield of wind, similar to the one azure used. Yet unlike Azure's it was an angle, knocking all the wind attacks to the side.
Chaos however did not go after his foe. He just stood there chuckling. "Did I catch you off guard there? This gauntlet is one of my newest toys. Using advanced seals I have created this toy, hehe..." Chaos then grabbed his other sword and tossed it, sheath included, straight at his foe. "It would be no fun if you didn't have a blade to match mine. While they are no Ichijin blade they are extremely sharp and deadly. Hehehe..."

Azure glided to a stop and reached out his left hand, catching the scabbard. He looked at it for a moment before drawing the sword with his right. The feint rays of light that came over the side of the canyon caught the metallic blade in its vision, causing it to gleam.
Azure took a little time waving the sword around, getting used to its heft and balance. Satisfied, he sheathed the weapon once more. His stance changed as his feet touched the ground.
This time he was favoring his left side over his right. His left hand was holding the sheath at his waist, while his right hand was poised over the guard. It was a classic Iaijutsu stance.
He was planning on quick drawing his blade. But they were a few meters from each other at this point. There would be no way that his blade would reach Chaos as it was now.

Chaos chuckled a bit before he took his stance once more. He then dashed forward once more, the blade tip dragging in the earth. Once he was near his foe he slashed at a much different angle as to cut through the stomach of his foe. But there was more, Chaos this time was using two hands! With both hands on his sword he would increase the blade's speed and power but with the slash another sphere on his gauntlet turned a gray as well.

Azure drew the sword with lightning quickness, lashing out in front of him at chest level. Unfortunately, it didn't go far as it collided with Chaos' blade moments after it left the sheath, negating whatever Azure had planned. The impact caused by Chaos' two-handed blow forced Azure back, drawing a trail of dirt as he slid back a foot or two.
Azure dropped the sheath as he gripped the sword handle with his left hand. It made a soft clunking noise as the hollow scabbard tumbled lightly on the ground. With two hands Azure was able to push back with enough force to cancel out the force of Chaos' push, deadlocking them together.
Azure attempted to push back harder, hoping to break the deadlock and put Chaos on the defensive. It was difficult, as their strengths were relatively equal. Only some outside force would swing the outcome one way or another.

Chaos smiled a bit as their blades met. Chaos had used a jutsu to increase the blades speed. It wouldn't be enough to cut through the sword but it would be enough to stun his foe as the blades met and knock Azure off sides so Chaos would attack once more.
Though as of now Chaos had used up one of his four Wind Shield spheres, one of his three Gust spheres, and one of his three Blade spheres. If he used to many to quickly he would be left without the gauntlets power until he had time to reload it.
