Fake Plastic Soldier Crew

A castle is never without hallways. Though only used to move between rooms in the castle, some of the most surprisingly significant things in history can happen in these corridors. Not built for function, the Royal Castle's hallways are lined with artwork and statues detailing the long and dark history of the world. With dark stone walls and deep red carpets, one never quite feels safe alone in these passage ways, and getting lost never sounds like a good idea.

After entering into the stone halls, Maryl glanced around briefly. The decoration was disconcerting at first but she knew that vision wasn't the sense she needed to navigate here. Feeling the flow of mana in the air, she hurried off through the halls, making sure not to get too far ahead of her companions as she moved. The ballroom wasn't a difficult find, beyond a curious set of large doors she could feel the stream of mana at its heaviest coming from them.
Attempting to open the door turned out to be fairly difficult. She grabbed the handle and struggled to pull it open, then push it open. Either direction didn't really work. It didn't look locked, but she just wasn't strong enough to move the massive doors on her own.

Not particularly concerned with the decor and grandeur of the castle, Kel followed a good few paces after Maryl and Seth bringing up the back of the group. He was focused on straight ahead and kept his eyes, ears, and nose open for anyone approaching. Where are the castle guard? He wondered briefly.
Seth kept up just a bit away from Maryl till they reached the door. It wasn't marked in any obvious way for which way it was supposed to open. Seth nudged Maryl to get her to step aside from the handle before grabbing hold of the door and pushing inward. Slowly the door opened to the ballroom ahead.

Maryl felt a bit bad for not being able to move the massive doors by herself at first. It was understandable, she wasn't a grown woman yet and didn't engage in regular exercise, but then she wondered about how Seth could do it. She knew Seth had no difficulty at all carrying her own weight and then some. "Thank you." Maryl nodded before stepping into the ballroom.

Menos emerged from a mainstay castle quarters that morning taking a big stretch and yawn as he stood in the doorway. After a brief roll of the neck, Menos shut the door behind him and started off down the hall. Before trying to proceed with things he figured it best to get answers from those who had experienced prior coronations. There were so many questions swimming through his thoughts, combined with the turmoil of the meeting just yesterday. He quickly set off down the halls for the main entrance, or at least a suitable exit nearby to make his way toward the city beyond the castle grounds.
