The tower is considered Fire-borne's Embassy while staying in the Capital City. The Fire Tower is the second largest tower but far more sturdy. It is constructed out of Metal in addition to wood, a trait that only Fire can truly perform. The top of the tower is where the Fire-Borne's royalty stays. The room is not very elaborate, but there is a large fire place that takes up much of the tower. Each floor has either a bedroom, study, or work room.

Bloom sat down in a chair near the fire place. She knew that she should probably get changed, but she didnt want to. The chair was comfortable, and it felt nice to get off her feet. She looked at the fire, and with the flick of her wrist she started to play with the flames. She made the flame bigger and smaller as she passed the time....

Emeriss had been dropped off just outside the fire tower by her ever so valiant butler. She have him a wave to send him off back home before turning her focus to the fire tower. Placing both hands above her eyes she gazed all the way up toward the top of the tower, inspecting its bizarre architecture. "So this is the new embassy? It's... bigger than I expected, and sort of gross looking. They must have hired an uninspired architect." She looked around a bit to see if anyone was around, she didn't really feel like walking the rest of the way to the ballroom, but since it looked like nobody was around and the windows of the tower remained closed, emeriss chose to give herself a little boost. Her dress was low enough in the back to where she could form her wings without damaging it. A set of blueish devil wings spread from her back and gave her a bit of a thrust as she floated off toward the main castle.

Violet walked into the room soon after Bloom did. 'Wonder what time the event starts?' She looked around hoping someone had put a paper in the tower, but found none. "We should probably get dressed and head down to the ball room. We don't want the King or Queen to get upset if we are late." Rolling her eyes, she unpacked her dress and went to go change. The changing process didn't take too long, so she decided to head on down to check things out. 'Hopefully no one will notice if we arrive late.'

Bloom sighed. Violet was right, she better get down to the ballroom before anyone noticed her absence. Bloom cleaned herself up and quickly got changed. She slid her daggers into a thigh sheath. Fire may have an aliance with Air, but she didn't want to be in a situation where she was wepanonless. With a last glance in the mirror, she left to join Violet in the Ballroom. Kasai flying a little further ahead of her.

Emeriss returned to the entrance of the fire tower before she stopped to wait against the wall near the doorway. As she went to fold her arms she looked down at the object in her hand. "Wait a minute..." It was that sword Colm had used in the ceremony. The dragon man said some gibberish and called it the Sword of Atlantis. Thinking it over, Emeriss shrugged. "Eh, mine now." Thinking back, she never told her butler when to pick her up, and if he didn't panic and charge on up during the ritual, he probably wasn't coming now.
Emeriss let out a sigh of disdain as she looked up. Something odd struck her eye. Did the castle used to have this many elemental towers? She counted the tower tops with her free hand, Six? Yeah, those two weren't here earlier. Maybe they caused that earthquake earlier. She had plenty of questions but nobody to ask. To investigate herself, she began to approach the Darker gloomier tower of the two that sprang up.

After a short trip from the southern reaches of the fire nation, Seifer found himself standing at the base of the new embassy of fire. He glanced about the surroundings of the castle before approaching the entrance. Something clicked in his mind as he reached for the door. He took a short jog back to get a better view of the castle and its surrounding towers. "Wait a minute... Six?" Having little interest, he shook his head and shrugged snidely before entering the fire tower.

Violet stumbled a little as she reached the entrance to the Fire Tower, but thankfully, somehow managed not to kill herself getting there. Now all she had to do was climb the stairs. 'Perfect, you go and get your very element sucked out and returned to you and now you can't climb a set of stairs.' Obviously too stubborn to ask for help, she began her ascent taking each step very carefully. 'I've made it this far, no use complaining about it now.

Orin entered the tower to find Violet stumbling up the stairs. He steadied her by taking hold of her arm, "There, there, I've got you." He looked down at Violet and then up the winding stairs, and said, "I can carry you up to your room if you please, your highness."

Seifer began to hike up the steps getting an eye full of the tower interior as he went. Not too far up the steps were two familiar figures. Figuring they had departed from the ball the king spoke of not too long ago, Seifer called up to them as he followed. "Princess! Orin! How were the festivities?"

Violet bit her lip not wanting to admit defeat, but slowly nodded to Orin anyway. 'Seriously girl, you wouldn't have made it.' She turned to look behind her when a familiar voice caught her ear. Hearing the question almost made her want to laugh, but she caught herself and began to answer his question with a sarcastic comment, "Festivities? Well, the King and Queen are dead and we all almost died, but other than that it was simply lovely." She suddenly winced feeling the horrible throbbing in her head again. 'Maybe I should just shut up for awhile and let Orin explain.'

Bloom walked up behind Orin and Violet. "Oh yeah, it was a blast, literally." She said sarcastically. She stopped by Violet touching her lightly on the arm, giving her some of what was left of her energy. She turned toward Seifer, her expression becoming serious, "What happened down there, I don't really know..."

Orin lowerd his arms enough to pick up Violet, his left arm holding her mid-section and his right supporting her legs. She wasn't very heavy, so he was able to turn a bit and face Bloom and Seifer. "For now, lets just say the King and Queen got what they deserved, but we will speak more after we get to the top where we don't all have to stand ." He turned back around carful not to let Violet hit either side of the staircase, and walked climbed to the top of the tower, followed closely by the others.

"Hmm... and here I thought the king might just be pumping under-aged youngsters full of booze all day in a dastardly attempt to create his own bi-sexual harem.", Seifer mumbled to himself, as he followed along. I figured the king was acting a bit suspicious when he gave me that invitation and insisted I tell other nobles about it. He looked up briefly, THE KING AND QUEEN ARE DEAD! Now THIS is a golden opportunity. I can't be the only one to recognize this.

Violet wrapped her arms around Orin's neck and held on for dear life, afraid he was somehow going to fall backwards down the staircase with the balance of weight being off. When they reached the top, she let go and slipped out of his arms and onto the floor turning around to see everyone as they followed. "Thank you Orin, and Seifer, have you by chance been in contact with Vincent at all lately? The matter I wish to discuss kinda involves him, although he doesn't need to be present." She knew she was avoiding re-telling what had happened in the ballroom to Seifer, but it wasn't really something she wanted to discuss considering she was still experiencing the aftereffects.
