The Tower serves as an Embassy to any Earth-borne staying in the Capital City. The Tower's top floor is for the Earth-borne royalty and houses a miniature garden that flourishes all year round. Each floor has a bedroom or a study or even a relaxing garden. Throughout the tower vines and flowers are connected, releasing their aromas and the scents of home in a strange city. The tower also continues for several stories underground where a cave leaves to quickly enter the mines where a small underground lava stream flows by.

A young elven girl looks outside the window of her bedroom and into the overlooking garden. She sits there quietly in a chair, waitng for someone.

"I wonder where sis is," she asks herself.

Stel walked around the towers, feeling a bit better after the earlier ordeal. Her head still felt like it was throbbing but she made sure her face didn't show it. She was still in her ballroom attire. "I need to lay down..." She slowly walked to her room through the halls trying to avoid any conversation.

Demeter walked up to the room she shared with her sister, Persephone. On her way, she passed by Stel. "Princess," she said as she curtsied. She figured it to be a very polite gesture to one of Stel's status.

Stel was about to keep walking, but she realised that Demeter was talking to her. She was still a little out of it. "Lady Demeter." She nodded towards her, acknowladgement. "How is your younger sister, lady Persephone?" She asked, not feeling well enough to give a snarky response. She wasn't usually nice to people or care about them at all, but Stel felt at that moment that it took too much energy.

"Oh, she is very fine at the moment, I'm just now on my way to our room." Demeter took one quick look at Stel. "But you don't seem quite fine yourself. Do you need anything, or aquire asistance? I can fix you up some tea or soup if you want."

Stel blinked, a little confused. How had Demeter known she wasn't feeling well? She thought of how she was standing and how her hand was on her head. "Oh." She had let some weakness show, this Stel would not do again... But tea did sound nice. "Just tea, but," She hung her head high, trying to regain some superiority. "If you don't want to trouble yourself, I wont care." She said, trying to sound mean and harsh. Though the statement itself didn't sound very menacing.

Demeter stared at the princess and smiled. "Very well then, tea you shall have. Feel free to come in." She invited as she walked toward her room. But before she passed through the threshold, she turned to face Stel. "You know, you can drop the 'tough act' for a bit. It's not like any one else is here. And besides, even the the princess need to show a little weakness sometimes, although I don't consider fatigue and a little migrane as a sign of weakness. It's natural and happens to everybody, even the best of us." Demeter smiled at Stel. "I hope what I said won't be taken as being out of line, princess."

(( I'm sorry for my late reply, I admit to being lazy. ._. Feel free to unleash your fury. ))

Stel glared at Demeter. "It's not all an act. I don't like people." She said the word like it disgusted her, while really she was just jealous of their humanity. But even so, people were not her favorite things. "And they don't like me either and I'm fine with that." Her gaze softened a little at the mention of being out of line and 'the best of us'. "I'd say you were but I kind of like that you'd actually speak to me like that instead of trying to please my every wish. But, I still didn't like it. You're forgiven anyway. Just because I'm feeling charitable. Sure, that's it."

((That's alright, lol. Happens to me sometimes as well. ^_^))

Demeter still kept up her smile. "Yes, well I'm one who likes to speak her mind, yet not sound disrespectful, that is, unless it was called for. And also..." She laid one hand on her waist and laid the other on her chin as if in a questioning or pondering manner. "...if you can excuse my language, I'm also not one to kiss someone's a** and suck up and agree with everything they say. But anyway, I thank you for your forgiveness." Demeter bowed.

She turned toward her room. "You know, if you're still up for it, that invitation for some tea is still up. I'm going to tell Persephone to start making it." She took one last glance at Stel. "By the way, Princess, I like you. I kinda like your...oh, what's the word...spunk. I guess that would be the term for it." She smiled and entered her room.

Stel continued glaring with her eyes, yet her mouth quirked up into a grin. She liked this girl. She reminded Stel of herself, which of course was the only one she trusted. But that didn't mean she was going to trust Demeter with her life or anything. Her eyebrow rose. "My spunk, eh?" She pondered the word, rolling the word on her tongue, seeing how it felt. It was probably the most accurate word that could have been thought up, not that Stel had ever really tried to think of one. "I'm still up for it." Her headache had already begun to disappear, but that didn't mean she would refuse an offer of tea.

"Alright then, right this way, may lady," Demeter said as she entered her room. She poked her head into the kitchen area. "Persephone?! Persephone!" she called. Soon, a younger, quieter elf stepped forward.

"Hello? What is it sister?"

"Fix up some tea, if you please. We have a special guest in the room."

Persephone peeked her head over and noticed Stel. "Oh my gosh! The Princess!" she did a small curtsy. " It's a pleasure to have you grace our presence. I'll go make the tea right away." She dashed into the kitchen.

"Well then," said Demeter as she turned to Stel. " While little sis gets the tea ready, how 'bout you make yourself comfy. Sit anywhere you like."

Stel nodded at Persephone, keeping her face void of emotion. She turned her attention back to Demeter. She didn't need to sit, nor did she feel like it but she did so anyway. "So, have you heard about the need for a new king and queen?" Stel asked, trying to keep her voice light. She felt that she should be the one who got the throne, why? Well, she was just selfish that way.

"Yes. There is heavy debate about the issue." At that moment, Persephone came out with a tray full of tea cups with a huge teapot in the center. She passed the tea around and took a seat between the two women.

"Thanks sis." Demeter said while she took a sip. "I take it you want to take the place of queen? I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I might just forget about it Too much responsibility. Besides, I like my current position as it is.

Stel took a tea cup and held it in her hand, not yet drinking it. "I know there would be much responsibility, but I think I could handle it. I'm tired of being treated differently because of what I am. And if I was queen, people wouldn't dare treat my wrongly. Though some already try not to, it still happens." Her eyes blazed. "And those people shall never look down on me again." Her hand squeezed so hard on her tea cup that it shattered. Stel looked down, bewildered. Her eyes turned back to their normal blank state. "Sorry."
