The blonde now idly leaned against the counter watching the door like a hawk. It had been some space of time since the last visit and she had just gotten the music box ready for the next visitor. She even went a head and dragged a name out of the girl beforehand, well not dragged but got her to name it without confusing the girl too badly.
"Hope you're ready for the next guest, Humfrey Two."
The man in the backroom snorted,"Out of the two of us I am most prepared."
At that point Oddy decided to ignore Humfrey, continuing to watch the door.

A gentle smile caressed the girl's face as she walked in front of the shop. Just as she had moved before the window, the girl behind the counter's intent gaze became apparent to her. She was almost suprised, but the fact that she had talked to her previously, and had somewhat found out her personality, prevented her from being too put off. It was merely an unusual act.
Although she was completely unable to claim that anything in this situation was exactly normal. I mean, how many people got to claim that they were going to become the adopted parent of an adult Xanthian-turned into an item to start their life anew in Gaia? It seemed most peculiar...
Shrugging her shoulders slightly she refreshed the smile that had fallen from her visage in the depths of her thoughts and stepped to the door. Her hand gently groped its surface as she pushed forward, peeking her head inside and grinning brightly at the girl. "Oddy," The girl thought to herself, "I think that's what she called herself..."
"Miss Oddy?" She said timidly, her voice almost a whisper, "I'm here to pick up Kaydence?"

Odyssey tilted her head at Sianna and then nodded, "Come on in, I don't bite." She smiled, it was actually a rare serene moment for the woman. Oddy must have been very busy all day or Humfrey Two drugged her. It is likely she was busy as Humfrey was too wraped up in setting up things in the backroom to care much about drugging Oddy.
"Kaydence is ready for you. Humfrey Two is just in the back getting a journal ready for you." She watched girl before her almost lazily.
"Oh for once she doesn't tackle someone. It's a damned miracle that is." A gruff voice resounded from a door behind Oddy. Oddy merely spared it a glare before returning her attention to Sianna.
Oddy suddenly goaded herself into action and got out the music box and it's certificate and laid it out on the counter, and now glanced back snidly remarking back at him, "Waiting on you, coot." Apparently the pair had a relationship based upon mutual disrespect at times.

Ducking her head slightly, she slid into the shop, silently closing the door behind her. Her footfalls were swift as she came to the counter, the sedated Oddy seeming quite different from the one she had spoken to on the phone just a couple hours before.
Smiling, Sianna gently ran her fingertips across the shiny surface of the box. Her look increasingly softened as she realized that sometime soon that box would become a baby that she would raise as her own. The thought alone thrilled and terrified her all in one. She'd never had the same kind of responsibility.
She'd had pets before, sure, and some were even humanoid, but the humanoids were multicolored and less than a foot tall. That meant that they required very little space, and they ate next to nothing. Giving them a single Oreo would satisfy their hunger for days.
This was a full sized child. It wouldn't come up as a child from the "Marker" stage, as her other ones had. This would be a swaddled, full-sized baby that would depend on her for everything. And would require milk, diapers, toys.. The thought, "I wonder if I'll have the money for the supplies.." Came to her mind, and she silently laughed at herself. The baby wasn't even about yet, and already she was panicing over money.
"Oh, yes, thank you, Oddy. I'm absolutely delighted to be allowed to adopt her. I'm sure she'll make my life quite.. Beautiful." With that she leaned far over, trying to see around the bend to the man Oddy had called to. Apparently he had her journal.

Oddy smiled at Sianna and then glanced back at Humfrey Two as he finally hobbled from the back and plopped the journal onto the counter, then stepped back. Humfrey was a good deal shorter than Oddy.
"Your journal, guard it with your life. When it comes time for your child to grow a page of instructions will appear as to what to do next..." Humfrey Two explained not bothering to introduce himself, "You'll also get a call from us letting you know that it is time." He then hobbled off muttering something about work and utter chaos.
The blonde giggled a bit and shrugged at Sianna, "Don't mind Humfrey Two, he's just a grump." Oddy slipped the certificate into the pages of the journal so as to make sure it wouldn't be forgotten, "Anyways, any questions you may have ask them now." She replied cheerfully, her ditzy demeanor starting to show through again.

Smiling at Oddy, she gently slipped her hands around the journal. It was strange to think that she would be writing in this for her daughter, taking in the small events that would happen within her life, but then she'd pass it on to her daughter to write down her daily events as she saw them. She could imagine even teaching her to write, muchly in that book.
The thought was amazing.
Locking eyes with Oddy once more, she sniffled, looking at the small certificate within the book for a moment, smiling to herself about the finality of it all. "No, Oddy, I don't think I have a question right now. But expect me back here if one does come up!"
Gently taking the box, she set it in a small cloth bag, wrapping it about it tightly to keep it safe. "If there's nothing more, I'll be going home now?" She asked this, not certain if it was all done quite yet.

Odyssey's face went blank for a moment as she went into hyper-thought. Had she forgotten something? No. Everything was accounted for.
"Yes, go home and enjoy your new charge. I will call you soon when the antidote is ready!" Odyssey replied cheerfully after making sure. If there were no questions it made no sense to make Sianna stay any longer than needed.
