Shugo Kagasawa Vice Captain

A glimmering flame appeared in the middle of a black room. It hovered around, danced, and spun. It soon settled on an old lamp face. The flame licked the wick standing on the inside of the lamp and a beam of light shot forth. A figure picked up the lantern and proceeded towards a wall.
"I swear I left the switch here some- WHOA!"
The figure fell and the lamp landed on the ground. The lamp spun to illuminate the figure. What appeared was Shugo, bent over an ornate desk, rubbing his leg.
"Ow... Jeez...man I really need to redesign this place."
Shugo climbed over the desk and picked the lamp back up. He pointed the lamp at the wall and inspected it for a switch. "
Now...where did I put that line?"
The light of the lamp scanned the wall, stopping at the occasional crack. It soon rested upon a worn straight line carved into the wall.
"Ah HA! Now...2 meters up, 7 meters to the left..."
His words soon trailed off. The light scoured the wall in a very strange pattern till it finally rested on a depression in the wall.
"Found it!" He exclaimed.
Shugo wrested a ball from his robes and threw it at the depression. The ball stuck for a moment and fell to the ground. Lights suddenly filled the room, illuminating some parts of the structure. The floor was littered with burn papers, broken test dummies, ornate desks, and sections of demolished floors. Crumbling pillars held up the structure. At some parts the ceiling was missing massive chunks. Shugo let out a sigh.
"Hopefully you can do me better this time around. Now! Off to the experimentation!"
Shugo walked over to an ornate desk and sat down. He pulled out a sheet of paper, an ink well, a pen, and began jotting down the plans to his next creation.

 Niomi, being her ever curious self, was walking around the Gotei to check out anything else interesting to see. She stopped walking seeing a flicker of light towards a ruined building. Staring at it for a few seconds, Niomi finally decided to take a look at it. She walks in examining the wreckage of the place first, after that, spotting Shugo. She skips over to stand in front of the ornate desk and hovers over to see what Shugo was writing down.

Greed came out Niomis shadow, after all he was quite fond of stalking her, but this time it seemed different. Hugging Nio and putting his head on hers, he starts to talk to shugo, "Hey shugo, was up, I was bored so I came to offer my help in any experiments. conditioning that I'm not doing anything too hazardous,well maybe a little" he smiled his usual smile

Niomi karate chops Greed's head with a "HIYYAA!!!" She backs away and folds her arms in front of her chest. "Next time you randomly appear from my shadow..." Niomi says starting to laugh with an sinister smile, "Your not going to find a cookie left in your quarters."

Greed fell back, rubbing his head "owww... why so violent,.... and why u threatening my ferrets for, they have done nothing wrong" Greed got up "plus, if my cookies disapear, so does your pockey, and kisus pockey" Greed threatened back at the little captain of the 3rd squad

*Shugo raised his head up from the desk* Greed I'd like you to know that this room was designed to ensnare all spiritual pressure. Basically it renders you much like a human while you are here. It used to be fully staffed along with a medical facility. But it all fell apart when one test became a bit much and exploded within these walls. Now all that is left are some lights, desks with useless research notes, and crumbling walls. I mean to get it started again but I need to rebuild the facility, and that on it's own will take awhile. Cause my workshop just isn't enough anymore.

"seems you need some support, fine, then il lend you some of my men to help you rebuild this place, as well as some funds, I have hopes on your research, as well as upgrades for my automail, be it some of your inventions used in it, like the marbles you had, or actual upgrading its strenght and ect."Greed smiled as he got up, he walked over behind Niomi and he hugged her yet again putting his head on hers

Niomi turns around and backs up staring at Greed for a good five seconds. She then kicks him from the side of his head. " Randomly hugging people is not permitted!" She shouted at him afterward leaning over Shugo's desk again being curious. "I see, I see, How interesting. But, shouldn't this be Squad twelve's duty?" Niomi asked tilting her head to the left.

*Shugo giggled for a moment at Niomi's question.* Squad 12 is only interested in invasive research and useless experiments. No real weapon has come from Squad 12 in years. *Shugo stood up and began to walk around* So I learned a few things and set up my own facility. Now I will admit that I was careless at first setting up such a massive facility. It exploded in my face so I made a lab in my quarters. Now that I have learned from my mistake I intend to restore and continue my research here. *Shugo then stopped in front of Greed.* The funding has already been figured out. I had a talk with the Captain of Squad 12 and they agreed to invest in me again. Hopefully things won't go awry...

Tempest walked into the research lab, wondering to himself what it is that made him go in the first place.
"So... this is why the reiatsu of so many people went missing all of the sudden..."
Tempest walked into the light, making himself visible to the others.
"Yo! What's going on around here Shugo?"

Niomi turns around to lean on the table with her back facing Shugo and a finger on her lips in though. "Hmm...I see, I see," Niomi said while nodding her head with her eyes closed seemingly to be very intelligent. Obviously, Niomi didn't really understand anything.

Greed read Niomi like a book and got up glomping her "awwww poor Niomi's confused, nya~~~" snuggles, he knew of course this will be the last thing he will be able to do today, or perhaps ever.

Niomi looks to the side and karate chops his head. "That's your last warning Mr. Greed!!!! You better put a nice guard on your cookies from now on because they are in danger of being consumed by an angry captain of the 3rd Squad!!!"

*Shugo turned to face Tempest.* Hmmm...well I'm in the process of reviving this dead facility. Squad 12 is off doing what Squad 12 does. Since there is a shortage of men, I figured we needed some back up weaponry. Just in case we need it.
