I mean, people do say that it's rude to point, but what if I'm trying to give directions to someone? What am I to point with? If I use my middle finger like some people do, they might get the impression that I'm flipping them off, and I really aren't, and that would just be terrible.
Can we just take an extra finger off someone elses hand?
