Umberkit sat outside of the nursery, his black nose wrinkled as a rain drop hit the tip of it. "Brother; what are you doing?" came Hollowkits elagent voice, her brown eyes sparkled as she joined him. "Waiting for Scorchstar to call are apprentice cermonies" he admited, feeling his pelt burn his sister always made him feel like he was doing something agaisnt the warrior code. The brown she-cat raised one of her gray paws to her face as she cleaned behind her ears "You look so gulity, may I ask if you have snuck out of camp again with Goldenpaw?" her brown eyes narrowed slightly, Umberkits black eyes flickered "Er.. No I have not!" his tail lashed to the side. "What are my kits bickering about?" came Squirrelclaws sweet voice which made the two kits stiffen "Nothing Squirrelclaw! Were just waiting for are cermonies!". "Why is it I find that hard to believe? Do I need to tell Dawnpetal something?" the she-cat demanded, Umberkits ears burned "Were not lying Squirrelclaw!" he chirpped back, almost pleading. Another voice erupted from the nursery telling them to keep their voices down or they would wake her kits, the siblings stood and side-by-side made their ways lazily across camp in search of something to do.

Moonwater and Appleleaf sat talking excitedly near the nursery.
"-and I'm having his kits!" Appleleaf finished.
"Wow, the deputy's kits. Way to go." Moonwater flicked the side of her friend.
"I know. I can't wait to tell him!" Appleleaf padded off to find her mate.
"Nettleclaw?"

Nettleclaw was bussy glaring down Goldenpaw, the younger tom had once again failed to understand he was not the leader of Shadowclan. His mentor Shrewfoot looked helplessly at her apprentices, her dark gray fur spiked along her shoulders as Nettleclaw punished him when he heard Appleclaw appoarching "Hello my love" the tom mewed and nudged the she-cat gently.

Nettleclaw purred "Punishing an apprentice, whats my favroit she-cat doing? you seem happy about something" the tom eyed the she-cat with amusment in his eyes.

"Well I just thought you'd want to know that you-" she flicked her tail over his ear, "-are going to be a father."
She could hear Moonwater yowling behind her.

Nettleclaw looked shocked, pleasure slowly creeped into his face as a purr rumbled in his chest. The tom rested his chine on the she-cats shoulder and mewed "Thats wonderful news!" he mewed sounding over joyed.

Appleleaf purred in response.
"Why don't you let Goldenpaw off with a warning, so you and me can go build a nest in the nursery."
Eclipsepaw watched Goldenpaw from across camp. She was waiting for Nettleclaw to give a punishment to him and leave.

The brown tom paused and mewed "Fine" he glared icly at the golden tom and mewed "Go, you got lucky this time" he snarled and nodded to his mate.

Eclipsepaw padded over to the golden tom and sat, curling her tail delicately around her paws.
Appleleaf led Nettleclaw to the nursery.
"Where should my nest be?" she asked.
Anything to get his mind off troublesome apprentices.

The brown tom peered around the nusry for the best spot and flicked his ears towards it "How about there? It's warm and seems to have a lot of room" his whiskers twitched.
Goldenpaw shivered like he had been dipped in icy-water, why did Nettleclaw have to act like he was breaking every rule in the warrior code! he clenched his jaw and peered up at she-cat with dark eyes "Why does he have to pick on me?" he demmanded.
