~Coming Soon~

Short Stories of a Role Player

Welcome to a different kind of RP. In this game, the story will not be a free-for-all, nor will it be run by a single head GM. This is even better because it'll be run by YOU! Granted, you'll have a turn to run it. For the length of one plotline, each player of this game will have a chance to GM (that is Game Master) a short storyline of their own.

So, wanna know more? Great! Read on.

Notice:
At least four THREE characters (other than mine) must be posted in the Profile Page before this RP will be activated.

Rules:
Rules:
No god-moding, no Mary-Sues/ Gary-Stues, no cheating, no complaining, no arguing, and the such.
Follow the story the current GM is narrating.
I am GM Overseer. Rawr.
All whiners will receive a large chunk of CHEESE.
Follow TOS (Duh!).
Follow my rules and gameplay rules.
Please keep the Yaoi/ Yuri to a minimum.
Please keep the crude language to a minimum. Only one swear word per post if you must have one. Absolutely no ‘F’ word, and no ‘G. D. it’s. You know which ones I mean.
No sex. At all. Period.
Please be literate!
'Rocks fall, you all die' can only be used with GMO permission.
The 'Rule of Awesome' is very much allowed. If it sounds cool or clever, let them try it.
I can add rules any time I wish.

GM selection:

GMs (that is Game Masters, aka the person running the current plot) will be selected by me (Gm Overseer) once the previous plotline has been completed. However, in order for somebody to become a GM, they must have played through AT LEAST one previous plotline and have displayed competency in both Roleplaying and the ability to run a game for a period of time. Said length of time has yet to be determined.

GMs, in addition to the current rules set down by me, can add rules ONLY to their current story. This means added regulations, restrictions for the sake of challenge, or new rules to the battle system. However, once the storyline is over and passed along, the rules are voided and the new GM can make up new ones. If they wish, they can adopt a few of the previous rules.
If I find a ruling to be too ridiculous, I will use my power as GM overseer void it as I see fit.

Battle System:
We will be using the same battle system as used in War of the Forgotten. Please refer to the Player's Guide in the WOTF subforum for further details. Posts four through six apply to this game.

Gameplay:
Players may use any character you wish, but please limit it to three at maximum. A profile page will be placed in the subforum to post character sheets. Using a character from another RP (like WOTF) is allowed.
When entering the game during a plotline, please discuss it with the CURRENT GM on how your character joins the party. Players can only play ORIGINAL characters. NO canon. Players cannot control the actions of other PCs or NPCs.
~Example: Joe cannot control GM Mary's NPC, George, not can he speak for their actions or claim that they did something UNLESS the character is verbally lying.
Mary: And then George walks away.
Joe: And then George falls and breaks his leg.
Mary: ...No he doesn't. Rocks fall, you die.
End example~

GMs can use any and as many characters as necessary to their plot. They can play both original and canon characters. However, they cannot control the actions of PCs unless used in the sense of an effect.
~Example: Mary cannot control Joe's PC, Bob...
Joe: And then Bob says "Screw you!"
Mary: And then Bob stabs himself in the face.
Joe: No he doesn't! gonk
. However, Mary CAN use temporary effect control, like...
Joe: Bob swings his massively-over-compensating halberd at the frogzilla. *Rolls a 20 on his dice roll* Critical hit! 8D
Mary: So yeah, Bob's massively-over-compensating halberd slices deep into frogzilla, severing all of it's limbs, cleaving it in half, and making it explode all at the same time.
~or~
Joe: Bob swings his massively-over-compensating halberd at the frogzilla. *Rolls a 1 on his dice roll* Critical fail! D8
Mary: So yeah, Bob slips on a puddle of inconveniently placed frogzilla goo, stabbing himself in the face with his massively-over-compensating halberd.
End example~

If a GM should fail follow the base rules, abuse their power, or abandon their duty as GM, they will be pulled from their status and their plot will be canceled instantaneously. A GM will be given three warnings for the duration of their turn before being pulled. If a GM is in fact pulled, they will not be allowed to GM again until I see fit, and for a minimal of three GM turns.

I think that covers everything.
Go forth and conquer!
