Ultimate Techniques
___________________________________________________________Background Info.
Backstory: It was 15 years ago, the very wise and old elder Guru was considering to create a powerful warrior that could help insure the protection of the planet. Weak and immobile in his older years. He would use a great deal of his life force in the creation of this child to make sure it was perfect. Guru would begin his meditation for this child, closing his eyes and straining himself. 2 other children that protect Guru watched in anxiety, worried about Guru's well being. An egg began to fill Guru's throat and began to travel to his mouth. He leaned over with his hands on the throne arm rests supporting his weight straining him further. Guru's children watching, gasped in shock over Guru. Relieving himself, Guru spit the egg on the floor of the throne room, leaned back and began to relax again. The 2 other Namekians slightly relieved that it was over watched Guru and then moved their eyes and heads over to look at their new brother's egg in anticipation. "I will call him, Bassoon." Guru said while breathing heavily.
The egg began to twitch a little and shine with a pulsating green glow. The others watched, and Guru looking down still breathing hard. The egg cracked, and the egg began to break apart. Half of the egg shell fell apart exposing the Namekian child inside. The green glowing plasma leaching onto Bassoon's body started to dim and sag off. The child opened it's eyes already knowing his name, and where he was. This knowledge was given to Bassoon in birth by Guru. One of the elders walked up to the child, picked him up and held him in his arms, looking curiously at Bassoon then up at Guru. Guru was a little surprised at the power the child was giving off. Small, but erratic for a child just born. He was quite powerful, It had some heads turning. Guru looked at the others and said, "wither it's a curse or a blessing, it looks like we might have a prophecy child on our hands.
The next day, a council meeting would be held with all the elders and Guru. While Bassoon was being watched by an older brother the elders discussed the issue at hand at Guru's tower. "Banish it!" one elder yells. "just calm down. We have dealt with Nameks of this kind before." The other elders nod in agreement. Guru being silent. They pondered for a moment, "we have two choices, kill him, or Banish him. The way I see it is Banishment is the most humane way to fix this via Parunga.", one elder stated calmly yet strict. "I agree.", "Me too." Others began to say. However, Guru had something to say, "Now wait a sec. He is my child just like all of you. I have a good feeling about this one. I made him with a good heart. Trust me. Treat him as your brother and he will return the favor." The other elder's faces filled with compassion, and agreed with Guru and began to nod their heads. "However", Guru said abruptly. "If I am wrong". Guru pausing a second, not liking what he is saying. "we should have an emergency plan to Banish Bassoon. Only us five shall know of this plan." So, from there on out unbannounced to Bassoon, the elders had a back up plan they would call "BB". They would raise Bassoon like any other Namek and keep the plan a secret and hope for the best, and so they did.
As Bassoon was growing up he lived a normal Namekian life. Training to be a fighter with his trainers, developing relationships with many other Namekians. He held a deep love for his fellow Namek. As he trained as a young child he noticed he had mush more capabilities than the others. Bassoon always found himself wanting more, more power, more skill. He enjoyed learning to fight. He swore that one day he would be the strongest and help protect his people. The trainers would always say he was a little special. Little did Bassoon know how special he really was.
By his third year of life he had reached young maturity already surpassing many in skill and power. He enjoyed becoming stronger but found himself at times angry. He would often have thoughts about killing enemies who threaten the planet and going to that alien's home planet and destroying them to insure none of them would come back. However, he would keep most of these thoughts to himself and continue his training. He was training one day and an elder came by to say hi to Bassoon. He would give Bassoon a holy staff and began to train him how to use it. Bassoon learned with much enthusiasm.
Old Bassoon
As time progressed, 10 more years in fact, Bassoon would grow much stronger, but that would not be the only thing that would increase in intensity. His thoughts would begin to control his actions. He became so dedicated to training for the benefit of the Nameks he became eccentric and overexerting. Training nonstop till he could not any longer passing out. His closest friends told him to take it easy, but Bassoon was too consumed by his lust for more power. A once seemingly normal behaving Namekian was turning into a very serious one tracked mind for more power, to protect others. He had forgotten how to show affection for others. This was the only way he knew how now.
Guru was growing tired and old. His life span had been shortened by the creation of all his children, but he had no regrets. To insure a longer lifespan and relaxation, Guru would suggest to the council that a position of king should be appointed for the planet, and that Bassoon should take that spot as king, leaving the council with much less responsibility. "Is this wise, father? an elder says. Guru smiles and says, "Of course it is. I can feel his thoughts his intentions are wholehearted and good." "I understand that father, however it is his method of such that scares me. However he shows some of the best leadership qualities I can think of." The council would talk it over and then the following day announce Bassoon the king of Namek. Bassoon would gladly except and would fuel his ambitions even further.
over a few years of rule King Bassoon had done a wonderful job as king. All the best decisions were made for the benefit of the Namekians. Where the best spot for a small village would be, how many trees and what area to plant that year would be, and King Bassoon even fought off and killed one group of aliens that were trying to harass the planet's people. Yes indeed, the planet's people were very satisfied and happy. Ironically though Bassoon was not. He would never smile, always remaining serious believing that if he let his guard down for a second, someone would be killed. He would always say he is doing what he should be doing. When he would visit villages, the people would be happy to see him but did not express it. For it would feel too awkward to provide affection if it was not being expressed back. He was completely consumed by his own power, and laws that governed his life. Always training to get stronger. He had become and still remains extremely eccentric and insane. With the odd relationship he has with his fellow Namekian.
