It is 2009 in the Pokémon world. The various villainous teams of Team Rocket, Teams Magma and Aqua, and Team Galactic have been long defeated. There’s peace in the Pokémon world thanks to the efforts of the trainers that defeated these teams and the Legendary Pokémon that once terrorized the world.
These days, there’s not much for Trainers to do anymore. Oh sure, there’s still the gym challenge and contests, but trainers aren’t exactly protectors of the peace or anything like that.
Which is why various trainers now gather at the Battle Zone. Some of them crave the rush of battle. Others want to become better coordinators and win more contests. Or some of them just want to vacation on the volcanic sands. In any case, the extremes of the Battle Zone are what attract trainers there.
And with a renewed risk due to rumors of Arceus’ awakening, things might be getting even more fun for trainers everywhere…

Rules:
1) No godmoding. Okay, for those of you who don’t know what godmoding is, godmoding is when you take control of someone else’s character. Like, say, make them dodge out of the way or crack their knuckles or something. On that note, your character is not omniscient and they are not immortal. That means they cannot dodge every attack that comes their way and at the same time they can’t take every attack that hits them and somehow survive. *phew* Okay, now that I’ve got that little pet peeve of mine out of the way, let’s move on to some more specific rules.
2) Don’t leave someone behind. This should obvious. If someone hasn’t posted in a while, unless they say “go ahead without me” or something like that, wait for them. Please.
3) NO LEGENDARIES IN YOUR PARTY. This means NO Articuno, NO Dialga, NO Suicune, NO Registeel… you get the idea.
4) Use the form, skeleton, whatever you wanna call it, provided. As in, don’t just throw together something and say “LOLOLOL THIS IS TOTAAAALLY MY FORM” okay?
5) Send your characters to me before you start posting.
6) Don’t go around killing people or something without the person that’s playing that person’s permission.
7) Canon characters are okay to control, but I request that they be gameverse characters, not someone like Ash or something like that. And you still have to make a bio for them. Oh, and I already call Red, so yeah, no one can have him.
8.) I’ll add other stuff later as needed. AND HAVE FUN. wink

Character Bios:

Username: Franken FF
Name: Laura Arborol
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Type of Trainer: Trainer
Appearance: http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k187/treetune/Pokemon/pokemontrainer.png (Temporary image)
Personality: The thing that most people notice right away is that Laura is rather rude, or at least appears as such. This is not helped by the fact that she refers to herself as “the Queen” in French, and her Pokemon as her “knights.” She’s also rather commanding and goal oriented, and seems cold and callous toward pretty much everyone. She tends to put up a pretense of being unafraid of anything as well. She tends to have a rather quick temper, too.
This isn’t so much a personality trait as it is a verbal tic, but Laura tends to not use singular pronouns like “I” and “me.” It’s always “we” or “us.”
History: Laura was a rather normal kid from Lavaridge Town who always felt rather overshadowed by the fire-type trainers who congregated in the town. For the record, her first Pokemon was a Budew she’d gotten as a birthday present. Eventually, as Pokemon are wont to do, the Budew evolved into a Roselia, and became fiercely protective of Laura. She finally named it after it evolved, naming it Rapier. This Pokemon became a mainstay in her party for a very long time after this.
After Laura turned ten, she headed out on her Pokemon Journey. She had since decided that she wanted to be the strongest Pokemon Trainer ever, and the way to do that would be to strategize. Rapier was her only constant; as she travelled through the world, she used different Pokemon. The only way to truly get into the heads of her opponents was to train Pokemon they were used to. And then, she had to subvert the tactics they thought they knew so well by now.
After getting all of the badges of Hoenn, Laura did not pursue the Elite Four like many trainers did. Instead, she left her Pokemon (Rapier not included) and friends behind to go train in Sinnoh. Her training went well, in fact Rapier even evolved into a Roserade during this time, until Laura met a trainer named Mimi. Mimi was the Anti-Laura, she was everything that Laura wasn’t. And that pissed Laura off.
During the now infamous Mt. Coronet Incident, Laura and Mimi ended up having to team up when they, like many trainers in Sinnoh, realized something BAD was going down at the mountain. Laura and Mimi had been in the middle of an epic battle on the mountainside when Cyrus summoned Dialga and Palkia, and upon realizing that BAD s**t WAS GOING DOWN, they put their battle off for another time, and collaborated to take down whatever Team Galactic members they could. Once several trainers started making it into Mount Coronet, Laura and Mimi helped them take down what remained of Team Galactic. While Laura and Mimi didn’t take down the Gods of Space and Time, they did manage to take out the crazy cult that had summoned them.
After Laura finished her Sinnoh journey, she got on a boat at Snowpoint to travel to the Battle Frontier.

Extra: Because she doesn’t carry a bag, Laura keeps all of her potions and stuff on the inside of her coat. Concequently, this not only makes her look like someone doing a rather inappropriate act in public whenever she needs to grab a potion, but it also means that she doesn’t carry too many healing items on her most of the time.

Name:Lois Dane
Age:14

Type of Trainer: Trainer
Appearance:Louis has short black hair, a slim body, and wears a blue shirt with blue jeans and a red sweater she always wears around her waist.
Personality:Lois is nice and sweet off the battlefield, but loves to see her opponents cry on it. She is ruthless and absolutely hates losing. She trains obsessively, but often burns out and sits around eating sweets for months until she finally gets her butt back on the wagon. Repeat cycle.
History: Lois grew up in Cerulean City, where she learned quickly that water pokemon were the bomb. She left home around the same time as other trainers and quickly rose through the ranks, defeating everyone. However, she was unable to beat the Elite Four, which has driven her almost insane over the years. It's still a touchy subject with her. She received her favorite pokemon, Blastoise, when she won a bet with another trainer.
