History:
Orphaned and left on a church doorstep at a young age by parents who were not ready to raise a child Lino had to learn how to survive on his own early on in his life. The priest of the church took care of the lad until he was five years old and had been caught stealing. When confronted the priest told the guards he had never seen the boy before. The guards, content with the old priests testimony, turned on Lino and prepared to execute him. the boy watched in horror as the men approached. When they were close enough one guard slashed and cut the child from his shoulder down to his bicep as he tried to dodge. Lino screamed out in pain and fell to the ground, clutching his back. As the guards advanced on him two blades pierced their necks and blood spilled all over the unmoving child. A man in a white cloak looked down at the child covered in the crimson essence of life before taking the child in his arms and rushing him to a doctor.
Two weeks later Lino awoke in a strange bed with a woman watching over him. Somberly the boy looked down at his arm and saw the wound left by his attackers. The wound would surely leave a scar. The woman asked him his name and he told her it was Lino. The woman looked down, ashamed, and muttered
cry of griefAs luck would have it for Lino the man that rescued him had decided that the boy would live with them and learn his art. For the next eleven years the boy learned how to fight, ride on horseback, balance, swim and kill. On his sixteenth birthday Lino was gifted a pair of robes by the couple he had come to accept as his parents. He had also been told about the mystical order of the Assassins. Those who hunted in the dark to make the light a better place. He wanted to join them eagerly and was promised that he would in time.
However fate had a funny way of forcing things upon Lino when he was not ready. When he returned home that evening he found the closest thing he had to a family murdered. He noticed and arrow in blood pointing towards the study. He followed it and noticed a hand print in blood on the wall. Lino pressed his hand against the print and jumped back as the wall slid away. Inside the room there was a chest. Lino opened it and took the contents. A hidden blade, a bracer with the mark of the Assassin's order covering it in steel and a sealed envelope. Lino tore at the envelope quickly and found it to be a list of nine names. Nine templars, nine men who needed to die. Lino understood the task laid out before him and set off in the direction of Florence to gather information about his targets.
Three years have passed for Lino since that fateful day. He has spent time honing his skills into that of a great assassin after the successful death of every man on his list. Lino knows he is no master and that there are still ways he can better himself. A couple of years later he finds himself in Roma, training apprentices, and helping to run the brotherhood there, alongside his friend Teodora
