Has anyone bought it? My friend got it just after the movie was first released and she sent the songs to me. They're so beautiful!
I'm thinking of updating my profile and including a playlist of ONLY Avatar music!

Looks like I'm the only one to own it officially then. I bought the CD a few days ago. The music is so beautiful. My friend said he wasn't impressed with the soundtrack, but this is the first one I've bought since The Lord of the Rings.

One mans trash is another mans gold, as they say. My friend tends to buy the soundtracks of historic action films, like Gladiator, 300 and Last samurai.

To be honest I though some of the music reminded me a little of Titanic, like it some how had Titanic underscores.

Yes it definately did have some trace of Titanic in it...but what can you expect it is written by the same man. I mean listen to Jurrasic Park, Star Wars, Indiana Jones....ya they ALL sound the same. The only major similarities to Titanic that I heard was in track five where the love scene occurs. That part was EXTREMELY OBVIOUS.

Me, him, and his brother saw it and now all he can do is point out all the problems with it. crying Like the arrows, he keeps going on about hwo arrows are to weak to penetrate metal. It kinda gets annoying
