This world came to be because of the will of the Gods. Together, they spread their arms and sprinkled the essence of life upon the dirt. Naive beings came forth, all with the natural obedience of children that heeded the whispers that surround them. All of them were cherished by the Gods, so much so that each immortal came to the agreement that, regardless of whose power is raised above all or whose children harnessed the most strength, all deserved the right to be happy. Thus, those who resided amongst the world were happy. But...
One race stood above all in someone's mind. The Ilyaquiel, mistaken conjured by the turn of Ilqua's hand, sprouted from the ground like a rose with perfect pedals. This mortal among Gods held the least power, yet summoned the crafting skills to chisel a perfect sculpture. When his creations took their first, powerful breath, Ilqua was breathless, and when they took their first, glorious step, Ilqua was forced to be seated upon the farthest star. He was utterly amazed by these creatures, but remained weary of their eyesight. He remained upon his star, merely watching in amazement.
As time passed, the Ilyaquiel flourished. From farthest reach of their territory came a girl, Iseylla, who developed an inevitable interest in the stars above. Upon gazing up at them one night, a strange sensation surged through her body. This feeling stayed with her, allowing the warped genetic growth to morph an undistinguished youth into a beautiful young women with a sense of strength and faith as sharp as her tongue. Her interest in political affairs and the implied struggle between the sexes rivaled that of the stars, thus, far too often Ilqua found her stare taken by the men he created. One in particular, Ys-Selaquine, found himself with Iseylla's hand atop his head, with her fingers harshly, but lovingly, tangled between his strands of hair.
As the two rose up the ladder, a new feeling awoke amongst their people; one lacking satisfaction. The other species had felt the hands of their Gods grace their bodies, aiding and improving them in every sense possible, whilst the Ilyaquiel remained as they were, standing in one place. An oncoming unrest was inevitable. Thus, Iseylla and Ys-Selaquine called a meeting with the now established figures of the neighboring species, the ghostlike Trascense.
Having believed herself to be personally chosen by the man amongst the stars that was her God, Iseylla was pleased when Xlv, the Trascense's leader, called upon his God, Ascn, to speak with her. This was, however, a fruitless tactic, as once Ascn was addressed about Ilqua's existence and location, he refused to disclose details out of respect for his fellow being. Iseylla left the meeting with her hands stained red, much to the dismay of Xlv and his closest officials.
A war ensued.
Over the span of just a few months, the Trascense's warrior numbers had shrunk from tens of thousands to merely one hundred and twenty eight, with merely thirty children to protect. The other species and their Gods blinded themselves to the situation for the sake of remaining neutral. Regardless, those Gods closest to Ascn laid their eyes heavily upon Ilqua. Below, the Trascense ran for their lives, hiding in the last bits of their land not lost to the Ilyaquiel onslaught. It was only a matter of time before they had to stand on the battlefield.
