Battle Time for Frynn! Rolling for J Faker. Frynn's 1st Turn!
Frynn has encountered a small wolf!
The cave itself seemed to respond to the Bosmer's complaints toward it with a certain hostility ... being that it wasn't one to sit around and let someone run all over it (or through it, as the case was,) that simply didn't want the thrill of what it had in store.
Unfortunately for the poor and starving Frynn, that response came in the form and fashion of a light brown and tan form streaking towards him rather quickly. It would seem he wasn't the only starving creature that wanted a bone between his teeth.
The small wolf's jaws would be upon him quickly if he didn't spot the creature and make an even swifter reaction ... a tough thing to do for someone crawling on their hands and knees through a dank, dark, and unknown cave, isn't it?
Roll your choice of battle skill before writing any post. If you get higher than me, you win, and may check the monster for loot (if you dare) during your next event roll. If you get lower, you lose 1HP (and the battle). Either way, make your next event roll.

[hand to hand roll]
Fryn had hardly had time to react when a furry thing came straight at him.. He reached for his daggers, but wasn't fast enough by far. That's what comes when you're on your hands and knees. The fur was on him and he hand reached to grapple with the creature, and hope to push it off him.
Perhaps he was kidding himself, wrestling a monster(all he knew it as in those few second) because the next thing he knew there was a sharp pain where it'd bitten him. With whatever strength he had he tried again to throw the creature off and this time make a break for it.

Panting and puffing, Frynn slowed when he was sure he wasn't being followed. Or, he'd at least not noticed that he was. He would make a note not to insult any more caves in the future. They seem to be able to fight back rather well.
He took a break of about 2 minutes to steady his breathing again before he continued, this time paying as much attention as possible to his surroundings.

Battle Time for Frynn!Rolling for J Faker. Frynn's 2nd Turn! Frynn has encountered a(n) starving wolf! Had he made it far enough away? Apparently not - the cave must not have liked being insulted at all, it seemed.
As Frynn rested, his guard dropped - and the same creature he'd been running away from before slunk after him, waiting for its chance. Most of the adventurers it had encountered were armed to the teeth - not exactly great for chomping on.
Seeing its opportunity, perhaps, the creature dashed, snarling and biting at the unlucky Bosmer.

[Blade roll.]
Typical. Whatever made him think he'd lose the wolf that easily? Luckily this time, he'd noticed the furry mass before it reached him. He backed up to give him more time to draw a weapon before he did so. The blade was in his hand the moment he hit a wall of the cave.
The next half second was moving too fast for him to see, but he felt the hot sticky blood when his blade dissappeared up to the hilt. When the creature stopped trying to bite him he had the chance for his thoughts to catch up and realised what had happened. He briefly considered eating the poor creature, except that it seemed a little on the thin side, probably starving itself.

Regardless of the wolf's state he decided it was better to check that the creature wasn't going to try to eat him again. He was beginning to doubt whether the little vanture into the cave was worth the effort. Unfortunately he didn't know any faster way of getting what he wanted, and to give up becuase of a little bite would be a waste of time... and flesh.

Battle Time for Frynn!Rolling for J Faker. Frynn's Final Turn! Frynn has encountered a(n) swarm of bats! Unfortunately, Frynn wouldn't get a chance to make a decision on entering the tiny cave - though perhaps that was a good thing! The cave seemed to make the decision for him, in the form of rattling softly, then collapsing in on itself.
Unfortunately, as it did so, a swarm of bats took flight to escape their potential death - and decided to use the Bosmer as a tasty snack, to boot.
Roll your choice of battle skill before writing any post. If you get higher than me, you win, and may check the monster for loot (if you dare) during your next event roll. If you get lower, you lose 1HP (and the battle). Either way, this adventure is over!

[Blade again.]
Frynn stumbled a little when the cave started collapsing, and narrowed his stare, again choosing to blame the cave fore being a tease. He hadn't even had the chance to enter yet.
He let out a brief shriek when he saw the swarm of bats that had poured out of the cave and swung his tiny daggers at them frantically. He kept it up for a few minutes, until the bats either left him be or he got the chance to run off again. He wasn't going to stick around and wait for the stupid cave to throw more animals at him. The fact that it wasn't there anymore only suggested it was trying to be sneaky. One day he'd show it who was boss... one day...
