Here it is, the event everyone has been waiting for!
In the Red corner, we have Snowy Zombie, aka Suzy!
And in the Green corner, we have Facade of Enmity, aka Alnette!
Now ladies, you know how the fighting system works, but where this is the main event, the championship, and the winner has their name appear on a worm on my Let's Play of Worms: Space Oddity... AND get a Dec '09 donation letter. With this in mind, we want the battler to earn their prize. The score goes up to 5 this round... First to 5 wins (unless there's a tie @ 5, then it's sudden death.) Are you two ladies ready? Let's get the fight on!

"So this is it..." The championship match. Alnette was thrilled to be there, though she was unsure how well she would do. Her grip tightened on Diamond Breaker, as she waited for Suzy.
She was prepared to attack when she arrived.

Alnette. Suzy had always found something very appealing about her - no, not her curves. Suzy didn't swing that way. Really.
It was that strength and speed behind such a frail frame! It was the challenge she presented, each and every fight! Even when Suzy lost to Alnette, she left feeling satisfied with the fight. There was never any pansy running away, no forfeits. It was a fight.
So, as Suzy snuck up behind Alnette and threw the succubus over her back, into the dirt, Suzy couldn't help but smile.

Alnette shook herself as she rose to her feet, brushing dirt off of her clothes. The attack had actually taken her by surprise, more than it had than hurt, though.
She uttered a frustrated growl as she charged towards Suzy, only to be struck down by a powerful punch to the midsection, knocking the wind out of her. Now that one did hurt. Quite a bit in fact. Rather than rising up right away, Alnette paused to catch her breath.

Before Alnette had even managed to catch her breath, however, Suzy was already on her. It was only Alnette's good fortune and intuition that forced her to dodge a potentially match-breaking strike - Suzy's spork carved a hunk of skin out of Alnette's arm, rather than the neck that she had been initially aiming for.
"Sorry," Suzy said, not at all meaning it. A sadistic grin was creeping up her face, and she could only wait until Alnette got to see the real fun.

Alnette screeched in pain as the spork sheared off a portion of the flesh on her arm.
However, in a way, this energized her.
Alnette rose to her feet and slashed at her. however, Suzy was prepared. She stabbed Alnette's left shoulder, her sadistic grin widening when Alnette dropped her blade from the pain.
Alnette glared at her, but her mind drew a blank when she tried to think of a spell to counter with.

Suzy had a bout of pity. It was a strange, strange feeling that she did her best to bury away, even as she dropped her heel on Alnette's cheek.
Maybe she'd go easy on Alnette from now on, surely -
Only that wasn't like Suzy at all. Doubts and pity aside, this was far too much fun.

Alnette wasn't ready to surrender not yet. With a grunt, Alnette rose to knees, unable to find the strength to rise to her feet. This feeling of weakness infuriated the succubus. How the hell could this happen? She hadn't even managed to scratch Suzy.
Suzy merely smirked, kicking Alnette back to the ground and pinning her there with a foot. It was simply too easy.

Suzy crouched down closer to Alnette, savoring this. It was quite a feat, the extent of this battle so far, and she didn't want to lose this moment.
Two hands caught Alnette's throat, not yet ready for the final blow, wavering.

She couldn't afford to lose, she couldn't. That was when it hit. A burst of power so strong, it dulled the pain. The succubus's clawed hands wrenched Suzy's away from her throat as she rose to her feet. She would then charge towards Suzy, aiming to tear her to shreds. Who knew when this power would fade, so she may as well use it.

Suzy was initially surprised by Alnette's ferocity, completely off-guard. She sustained a fierce slash to her face, and the warm liquid running down her cheek did little to help alleviate the shock.
Then she smiled.
"Finally warmed up, Alnette? I'm glad we'll finally get to fight."

Alnette laughed bitterly, charging towards Suzy again. Her eyes were wild and the grin on her face was nothing but feral. This time one of Alnette's boots went flying towards Suzy's face, Alnette attached. Alnette wasn't going to give up now until Suzy struck her down.

Suzy was sent flying, landing flat on her back. Normally, this wouldn't have fazed her, and she would have just gotten back up on her feet and attacked with the same spirit as before. However, this time, she didn't get up immediately. Instead, she turned to the side, spitting out blood and a few teeth, feeling shaky and underpowered.

Alnette grabbed Suzy, hefting her up into the air with a single arm. The succubus then drained some of her energy. Not much, just enough to keep her power flowing. She then tossed her to the side, giving her a moment to rise before she would attack again.

Suzy was being decimated, and she didn't like it.
When had the power shift occurred? Why the hell was she being beaten up by the goddamned succubus?
Suzy pushed herself to her feet, trying to get steady footing, but when she received a foot to the face - she was down once again, struggling to maintain consciousness.
