This lake is the largest in Amegakure, and is where most of Ame's ninja come to practice their water jutsu, given that it is the largest source of water in or near the village. It is also constantly replenished by the near constant rain, meaning that no matter how much water is taken from it, it never gets any shallower. That is why it is known as the Eternal Lake of Amegakure.
