American Coldwave is Industrial Rock blending elements of Industrial Music, samples pretty much throughout the whole song, Metal, Rock, and/or Punk. It's all made in pretty much a Rock structure, but not always. Overall it is probably the one of the more creative genres around.

Industrial Rock/Metal cannot exist outside of being Coldwave , bands called Industrial Metal fall into 5 categories:
1. Rock or Metal bands that have little to no electronic, let alone Industrial, elements and just sound different from any of their counterparts, so they are just called Industrial because it's more appealing somehow.
2. Rock or Metal bands with little Industrial or electronic elements, though, not enough to make them Industrial.
3. Rock or Metal bands with medium to heavy Electronic, but NO Industrial elements, in their music.
4. Black, Death, Stoner, Groove, Doom, Drone, etc, Metal bands with little (mostly) or medium Industrial or Electronic elements. It is usually made clear that they are an Industrial (blank) Metal band.
5. A Coldwave band...

Aggrotech:
Aggrotech is more an "angrier" and harsher version of EBM. But unlike EBM it strays away from the four-to-the-floor OONCE OONCE OONCE bass. Sure it has that, but not in pretty much every song, like EBM usually has. Aggrotech also often adds guitars into the music, and the vocals are usually very distorted. Aggrotech is also often called Hellectro, terrorEBM, etc.

Psytrance (Psychedelic trance)
Psytrance is a form of electronic music characterized by hypnotic arrangements of synthetic rhythms and complex layered melodies created by high tempo riffs. Psytrance usually is generally faster then most other form of trance with a usual BPM between 140 and 150. Psychedelic trance uses prominent bass beats that pound constantly throughout the song, and overlays the bass with varying rhythms drawn from funk music, techno, electro, Middle Eastern music, and trance using drums and other synthesized instruments. The different leads, rhythms and beats generally change every 32 beats, and layering is used to great effect. Psytrance is usually around 6 to 11 minutes long and reverb is used very heavily. Dark Psytrance is very close to regular Psytrance as well, but often times includes guitar(see the last five tracks).
