Vote for Orson, people! I have nothing against the Narnia books, but as far as I am concerned, that ship sailed when I finished rereading them for the last time when I was 12. I would like to see something intended for older audiences up here. Not to mention CS Lewis only really contributed Narnia and some preachy christian essays to literature, while Card has quite a large array of excellent books.

That's overstating it a bit. C.S. Lewis wrote a fair amount of fiction beyond the Narnia Chronicles...and Card can be plenty preachy (see Saints, Folk of the Fringe, Lost Boys, and the Women of Genesis series).

That said, Orson Scott Card is one of my favorite authors and I did vote for him.
