Hmm... Banners... I could possibly assist with making some, if you'd like. xD I already made a banner in the one of the guild's sticky threads as you've commented on already, and I know I'd have to fix it up or something to include Stahn and Lloyd, but... Anyway. I'd follow requirements if you want me to make some other ones, too. =P

I know it's not my choice to decide this, but an idea is that we could post little banners at the top of each thread for a different Tales game in the guild. For example I was already working on one last night:



Is it too ugly? xD Anyway, if we'd use it, it would go at the top of the first post on the Tales Of Phantasia thread which has already been made. I'd need to make a banner for all the other Tales games still, if this idea is liked.

Okay... I don't think we'll have to use that exact one if it's not very good. It's up to you... (You could tell me what you'd like exactly or something?) And about Chester; yes, I've noticed that too. But... How do you remove pixelized-ness? I haven't figured out how to do that... I have Adobe Photoshop, and that's how I usually make images, so is there a tool on that to remove the effect?

There are lots of different ideas for the pictures to use on the banners, too... For example, and this is strictly a rough draft (really ugly right now, no game title or anything), but here's one for Tales Of Destiny 2. Like, we would use pencil drawings of the characters.



The problem is that in some games, varities of picture types between the characters are unavailable... *Rambles*

If the Chester pic was like that in the original source, it really can't be helped.

As well, I'd say pic a group pic that exists already if you can, or use the orginal artwork for each. To be honest, I like the original artwork from nearly all of the games before the finals are done.

The Destiny 2 one is very nice, and hopefully that one will be used in the future. Though I'd suggest getting the characters a little closer together. Other than that, nice work so far. I hope to use whatever you're able to work up in threads to come, as well as present threads too.

I should write my self a priority list or somethin'. >-<; Heh... Anyway, I have two week's worth of all nighters to spend, so I'm sure I'll get lots done in that time. xD I'm going to start with gathering the original art for Tales Of Phantasia if I can, and I'll continue looking for a close-up of Lloyd for that banner. (You're right... I guess I was being just a little too picky. ;-; There'll plenty of Stahn close-ups now that I look.)

And it's fine... I'd rather be instructed directly rather than rely on my own ideas.

I forgot about that website, oh well. And hey, I do like the banners, so I'll use them ASAP. (Like, right after this post)

The only thing is something that Exselser sort of pointed out:

Is that Destiny 2 one official art? I've seen the Reala one before, but the rest I haven't. Kyle and Harold do look a little off if you were to ask me... Currently there's no Destiny 2 topic yet (Because I have to wait a little longer to play the game), so it doesn't matter as much now.

By the way, the character designer for Phantasia, Symphonia and Abyss is Kousuke Fujishima, which is one reason why they're all on the same timeline. Destiny, Destiny 2, Eternia and Rebirth are someone else, I forgot her(?) name. The person is also doing Tempest. (I'd like to say "Inuano" or something like that, but I don't think that's right) Rebirth's Character design is probably the best work that person has done so far.

EDIT: Noticing that website now, it has all of the status screen versions of the characters without problems. I only bring this up because your official one streches the tables a bit. Not going to worry about that for now, but if people don't like their tables being stretched, the one you currently submitted will leave the Phantasia topic.

The One Percent bothers me, so I'll wait on those. I'll go and look for myself though, I know quite a few places where I can see where those pics come from.

This is random, but... I just watched the Tales Of Phantasia anime. The three, and only (I think), episodes of it. 3nodding It was awesome... Except reading an hour and a half of English subtitles wasn't the best. ...But I must cease my complaints. xD I'm glad to have seen it.



Indeed that art is official. ...Is it okay that I removed the signatures? sweatdrop I don't think it's a real crime if we're merely using the official pictures for these little banners anyway, but if needed I'll add in the signatures. ...No problem. It's just that it looked dumb having 6 signatures for the pictures. >-<;;

I was thinking it worked out like that somehow... By looking and comparing the character pictures from ToP, ToS and TotA, it indeed looks similar the ways the characters were drawn. But then if you add Eternia, for example, to the comparison... it throws you off. But I noticed that on the Destiny, Destiny 2, and Eternia official character art had the same signature (I removed it... But I think the name started with "Ma" or something...) and so... yeah. I hadn't checked Rebirth yet, but you're most likely right. (No signatures appear on the Phantasia, Symphonia or The Abyss character drawings though.)

Yes, I've also noticed. If need be I'll alter the image in whatever manner you'd prefer. ninja
