Being surrounded and majorly composed of overgrown reeds that grow far overhead the average persons height the village has never needed gates, they have a natural defense. Located in one of the most dense parts of the grasslands where grasses easily reach 12-15 feet in height and pack as close together as possible there is little passage unless your a native and know how to traverse the fields without being beaten half to death by the reeds. There are three major paths leading from the village. They can only be noticed by the sound of wind's sigh traveling through the reeds in the path. It is this sound one must follow to find the village, or to leave the village as the reeds have a funny way of changing and altering perceptions of distance. There are many guards hidden away in the tall grasses, two sentries wait on each paths entrance to the village and ninja can be seen patrolling the path from time to time. Of course the villagers use them as well, going out to other villages or roaming the grasslands for whatever purpose, though many know well how to walk the grasslands without the path ways. Just as the sea is always moving so are the grasslands, the path is never the same twice, but it is always there, sometimes it is longer and scenic, other times it is short and direct.
(The time it takes to enter the village is determined if it is an even (long) or odd (short) day of the year PST)

BPC Nibi
From the distance of the gate the Shinobi who stood on the Grass Village gate started to see three balls of lights heading there way. They didn't know what these lights where they just knew that the lights where heading towards the gates. Then again before they could act the balls of light came into the light and it was seen to be fireballs that came crashing into the gates burning everything in its way. The shinobi on the gate all died from the attack as the balls of fire burned the gate the a shadowy figure with two tails could be seen yet. Most would know of this figure. When it came into the light the figure was none other than the Nibi, The two tails beast. This tailed beast was attacking as if it had a purpose or something. Yet no one knew what made the Nibi attack it just attacked the Grass Village without any reason. As the Nibi came to the gate it tails destroyed one side of the gate causing it to fall to pieces and shake the ground once it came crashing down to the ground. Several Grass Village Shinobi came to try and fight off the Nibi and they were greated with words of hatred.
"You pathetic humans know nothing of power. You had us sealed up in your bodies before. We will not fall to that same fate again. We will kill the lot of you before we would ever fall to that fate again."
As the Nibi spoke he was enraged for having been sealed inside of a human and then being defeated and captured so that he couldn't be free like he wanted to be. The Nibi growled and then opened its mouth and shot out 3 more fire balls that where heading towards the shinobi from the grass village. Some shinobi dodged the fireball which sent two of them flying towards the village heading straight for the Kusakage's office. While the last fireball connected with the some of the Shinobi kill them as it exploded and burned everything in its way. The other Grass Shinobi that came to attack the Nibi and dodged the other two fireballs where killed by the Nibi's tail and paws which after the Nibi was done he walked towards the village to continue his attack against them.

As the Nibi attempted to rampage Kusagakure, a sudden attack would impede its fiery and destructful march. A bamboo grove, made up of hundreds of stalks, would rise upward and stab into the great beast, attempting to pierce its body and hold it in place. The point of the attack was to halt the creature's movements until direct action could be taken by the Kage or the Jounin who stood in the Kage's presence. The caster of this Jutsu, known as Sojiro, stood safely in the Kage's office, hidden from the Nibi's view as the bamboo continued to rise upon the creature.

BPC Nibi
The Nibi felt the attack against it but, the chakra the flowed around the Nibi was like fire. As the Bamboo grove would shot up towards the Nibi they would burn and fall to ash under the Nibi's heated body. As the Nibi stood there and looked on at the village that was trying to attack back. The Nibi growled at the Grass Village shinobi that tried to make its attack on it. From what the Nibi could see it was being attacked from the shadows by a coward from the village. What the Nibi wanted was a straight up fight. It seemed it wasn't going to get what it wanted. The Nibi smiled as it inhaled and shot out a large fire ball that was heading straight for the village center. Once it would have made it there it would connect with the village and send out smaller flames all over the village to cause a chain reaction of flames that would cause for the village to burn down in the matter of about 2 hours.
"You humans are nothing but, a pain. All you humans do are destroy the planet we use for out homes. You will all die for your wrongs and your damn wars."
As the Nibi said that the giant fire ball headed for the village. It wasn't something that the Nibi couldn't stop. Then again the Nibi wanted to get rid of this whole village. The shinobi who attacked the Nibi made it even worse on the village. The Nibi was just going to attack the village and show it that it wasn't to be played with. The Nibi took its time to make its attack. Yet then again the Nibi was tired of the grass village and allowed the fireball to continue towards it attack. After it noticed that the fireball would do all of its damage the Nibi turned around and walked away from the grass village with its flamed like chakra around it burning everything it touched. What would the grass Village do against the fireball that the Nibi shot towards the middle of the Grass Village. -exit-

(Man, repetitve sentences bro! Nibi this, Nibi that! It was hard to read and not make a face. XP Try to make an attack interesting to read. Rather than "The nibi did this... The nibi did this, too... The nibi also did this." It gets annoying... Sorry. X3 )
Another grove of bamboo shot up, catching the flaming ball before it could destroy the village. Despite the fact that the fire DID burn away the bamboo, more bamboo only poured forth to take the full brunt of the attack, saving the village from a full on blast of flame. As the fire was appetized by the continuous stream of bamboo stalks, it soon burned away into nothingness. In the Kusakage's office, a chakra-drained Sojiro fell to his knees...

After preparing for his venture to the Kage Summit, Sojiro would wait at the gates for Shigatsu, helping the villagers remove the debris from the gate. He was able to help the citizens of Kusa make a pathway through the gate. As a precaution, Sojiro created two rows of bamboo that would stretch down the length of the walkway. In doing this, he made sure to prevent any broken or crumbling debris from the gate to fall on the workers. Having done a great deal to get the villagers started on repairs, Sojiro sat back and waited for his friend.

Shigatsu was Flash Stepping down the pathway with bamboo stalks bordering it on every other side. She came to a stop beside Sojiro. "Nice job with setting up the bamboo stalks on the edge of the sidewalk," she commented with a smile. Holding the smile for a minute longer, she switched to a more pressing matter. "Let's go," she urged. She showed by slowly walking ahead of Sojiro and into the boundary marking Kusagakure and the land of Grass.

At the gates of the Grass village a sigh of wind could be heard as, the people on duty got a little weirded out as one pointed out the something was coming, the natural defenses to thoose not native to the village had not triggered either, this troubled the guards but soon thier questions would be answered. A figure walk out through the tickest area of plants, he was clad in a green, almost female appearing Kimono although the wearers face proved it to be male, The person seemned to have a calm of violence around him as he walked with a passive expression the bushes practically moving out the way for him.
"HALT!" One of the guards yelled and the young looking shinobi looked up to him and gave a pleasent smile which was almost broken by the guards question "How did you get here without useing the path? Answer quickly!" The shinobi smiled a little more drawing closer to the gates "The plants let me through and told me how to avoid the guards up until here." HE said like a summer breeze, gliding his fingers around a beutiful yellow flower but not picking it "But now I suspect You will want to know about me, My name is Tomaho, From the Sakurian shrine I was sent here to the abysmal reality of a village brutally created out of my brothers and sisters yet let it slide i must as building a essential in some manners." The shinoi looked up all the good graces gone from his face as he walked forwards "Now you will let me in so I can talk to the KusaKage." He said as the guard who he spoke with was point brink from fury "Don't you talk to me like a superior you brat, show some respect to your eldars child or I'll..I'll..." The words were stopped simply by tomaho's expression as he said "Don't Dare acuse me of being a child, I am twice as old as I look so take back thoose words or I will do to you Human as you do to Plants, Chop you up and burn you, I'll use your bones to carve models and use the rest for compost." The Guard and Tomaho shared angry looks for a minute before Tomaho pulled out a small note with an Official seal to prove its authentisity, the people may not have had contact with where Tomaho came from, but they both were under the same rule, meaning that he had proven who he was and entrance was allowed to him. As Tomaho walked in the guard pointed at his eyes with his pointing and middle finger then pointed at Tomaho who returned it with a favourable fist shake.
As he walked into the Village Tomaho stopped "I swear upon The Sprite of nature that I shall corrispond to all requests asked of me and shall ignore the incantations of the rules of Humanity Chapters three to nine, upon the love of nature I do go forth." with the Tomaho pulled a small seed out of his bag and preformned a handseal on it, before the seed beutifully folded out into a silver rose, a very rare and hard to care for flower. "This shall be the peace offering, a Flow worth a hundred thousand times its weight in gold." And placeing the flower into his hair the young yet apparantly not to young shinobi headed to the Office of the Grass villages Kage.

Hatsumi merely dropped a note by the guardhouse as she quickly made her way out of the village towards the Great Naruto Bridge.
