The Ashitaka District is located towards the western side of the village at the base of the volcano. The appearance of Ashitaka District is based on fire, naturally. Like the other districts in the Flame Village, it is based on its elemental color, in this case, red. The majority of the buildings are made of stone. They also have red pagoda-style roofs favored by the Flame Village. Ashitaka symbols are often put on important or nice buildings for decoration and inside it is common for a picture of the symbol to be kept in an important, visible place. This area also houses the Agnikage's palace. To the northern end is where the Council of Elders reside. They are old Ashitaka mystics who have been chosen to watch over the tribe and make decisions that may overall effect the clan. Even the fourth Agnikage must consult with these individuals before commencing in anything pertaining to such matters. The Elders are also responsible for keeping the Aldrnari belonging to an Ashitaka before one passes away. It is a memento of great power that is protected by them at all times to avoid them falling into the wrong hands.

The day was good and things looked beautiful outside. Asha had just woken up and it was about time to start things off for the day. Grabbing all her supplies she quickly made her way to the streets of the Ashitaka District. The streets were lively as ever, children running around and playing about and the warriors of the clan getting most of the children lined up for their daily training. Each by the time they had reached the age of 11 or 12 they were already potential geniuses due to the training they endured before entering the academy. "Kazumei the Salamander, I wonder where my cousin could be these days. He never stays put in one place for too long. I could have sworn I seen him somewhere around here." She looked from each corner and alleyway.

Usually he had been training from sunrise to sundown which was why it was a surprise to see him. Instead she would go towards the area where the Council of Elders were located. Sometimes he could be seen consulting with them before heading out to the Agnikage building. Even knowing his schedule didn't help at times. "I wonder where he could be?"

As Takashi walked through the district he couldn't help but notice Asha going towards the Council of Elders. At first glance he thought it was an important matter she needed to attend to but as he got closer he could hear her whispering to herself in questioning of the Fire Emperor's whereabouts. "If you're looking for him I think he headed towards his office the last time I checked. I'm not quite sure but if he isn't there he can't be for away." He said pulling up next to her. "Rumor says when Carsaik left the Flame Village some time ago and he stole something of very importance and forbidden from the Elders. I'm pretty sure you have an idea of what it is. Kazumei must have at least told you something." He said walking alongside the Asha. He knew that she had to have some idea of what he was talking about. He didn't want to speak to loud in front of the public to cause unwanted attention and besides he what he was talking about was classified information. To add to that it was only a rumor. He didn't know how true things were until he spoke with Kazumei.

Spike sauntered through the Ashitaka district, the only part of the village he knew of that he hadn't explored yet. His curious golden eyes examined every part of the district. From his point of view, information was the most important possession a person could have.
The most obvious part of the district was that it was a the base of the volcano that was responsible for the rich soil found all over the village. Upon further inspection, Spike noticed that most of the buildings were made of stone, with red roofs. The roofs were pagoda-style, just like all the other roofs in the village. Another trait that these buildings shared was the symbol that adorned each one.
Although Spike wasn't aware, he had been staring at the symbol with a wistful face for almost five minutes. Something about the symbol invoked a strange feeling deep within him.
And so, Spike stood, motionless, unaware that time was passing by...

At the sound of Takashi's voice she turned to her side to notice that it was no other than her older cousin. Besides Kazumei, he was really close to her and served as a good training partner when it came to honing her skills. If it weren't for him she'd be running in circles looking for Kazumei. "I'm glad you came around, he was always like that. Never did stay in one spot and I don't think Agnikage is gonna change that." She chuckled. It was true. The guy never did stay in one place. He was like that ever since she could remember. At first it made her angry but overtime the only thing she could do is smile because it was only him being the salamander boy that everyone always knew him as.

"Maybe we should let him be." She smiled. "He's probably busy with Agnikage work and I can imagine how munch he has piled in his hands." She said redirecting herself towards the eastern side of the district. Just before she could say anything she noticed an Ashitaka genin who seemed to be standing in the middle of the street for no apparent reason. "Hey kid you lost your way around?" She asked kindly as she and Takashi approached.

Takashi laughed at the statement of Kazumei not staying in one place. "Well that's not a surprise. That's him for ya." He smiled. As he continued alongside of her into the district he noticed the genin standing in the middle of the open also. The boy was acting as if it were his first time in the district. Pretty awkward to say he was of Ashitaka lineage and had such a lost look on his face. "Maybe he's troubled." He assumed. With that he walked up to the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You okay kid, if you're looking for your jounin teacher you can train with us until he shows up. By the way, the name's Takashi and this here is Asha." He shrugged with a confused look towards Asha.

Of all the voices echoing through the district, only one was able to snap Spike out of it. It was the voice of a woman, not too far away from him. His head slowly turned towards her, and her apparent companion, as if he were trying to tear himself from the symbol that hypnotized him. The hand on his shoulder helped a bit, and eventually, he succeeded.
Even though she, and eventually the man next to her, were talking and looking right at him, he wasn't totally sure they were talking to him, at first. He had to look behind him a few times to make sure. Once he realized they were finished talking, he addressed them, but not before bowing. They appeared to be of a higher rank, after all.
"I wouldn't say lost, exactly. But, then again, I've never been here, before, so yes, I suppose that counts as being lost."
He glanced from the woman to the man, and back. They had introduced themselves, so it'd only be fair for him to introduce himself.
"My name is Spike. It is a pleasure to meet you both."

Xaoh came walking into the Ashitaka district, with his hands in his pockets. As Xaoh stood there he waited for Salome to come into the district like he did. Also now they were looking for Kazumei so they could discuss what it is they were going to do next with the Otokage and the Hokages treaty. As Xaoh stood there he took his hand out his pockets and said.

"Hey Kazumei, where are you man. We have alot of things we need to talk about. It seems like we finally got a good mission on our hands that only me, you, and Salome can do."

As Xaoh stood there he waited for Kazumei to come so that they could do everything that they needed to do to get ready for this upcoming battle. It was simple if the Otokage an Hokage needed to make an alliance the Agnikage would be there destruction. Each village had there own village power. Yet 3 kages in one place with either there advisors or council members would start a war of all wars.

Salome entered the Ashitaka District behind Xaoh. She looked around but could find no signs of Kazumei. Usually he headed towards whenever he was headed back for training. But this wasn't anything new. He had been late for just about everything. Sometimes she couldn't tell how he graduated from the academy with being late for just about everything. "Kazumei!!" She called out to him while looking around diferent areas. From alleys to asking different Ashitaka in the area, she could not find any information on his whereabouts.

"Dammit, where the hell could he be right now?" She said walking passed Xaoh. Up ahead she would notice Asha and Takashi speaking with a younger Ashitaka in the area. "Asha, Takashi." She called out to them as she made her way to where they were standing. "I'm looking for Kazumei, any idea where he could be?"

Asha frowned in confusion when the boy mentioned he hadn't been around the area before. It was slightly eerie. He seemed like a good kid, although it slightly perked her interest as to how he had never been in the area before. He was clearly of Ashitaka blood so there would be no reason why he would be unfamiliar with the area. Still, she didn't press the matter even though she wanted to. "Well it's nice to meet you too. Maybe we can show you around if we ever get some time to spare." She gave a cheerful smile. Suddenly she would hear her name in the far distance and by the time she would turn around to see, she noticed Solome headed towards her and Xaoh not far behind.

"How's it been." She smiled. "I don't know, I've been looking for him myself lately which means he can't be in the district. The last time Takashi saw him was after speaking with the Ashitaka Elders. I wouldn't really know, he never stays put for too long."

"Good to meet you kid. Maybe I'll teach you a thing or two if you prove to be a strong Ashitaka. I can't let any wimps run around making our clan look bad. On that subject, you should be training with your sensei Juno and the rest of your squad. I better hear good results."

He picked with the kid. Still he was only doing this because he wanted to see the guy grow into a strong Ashitaka. He wanted to see that the boy made a name of himself and proved himself of worthy of representing the Ashitaka in battle. If so, then Takashi would teach something to him.

"She's right. I haven't seen him in a while. The only time I've really seen him around was after he finished speaking with the council of elders."

He replied to Solome. He no clue on the Flame God's whereabouts. Not far behind Solome, Takashi had noticed Xaoh. It was a bit surprising to see him around Kazumei for a change. The duo could always be spotted somewhere in the village, always plotting something.

Xaoh stood there and listened to everyone talk. Then Xaoh came up with a plan and decided to run with it. Being that Xaoh knew Kazumei, he know this would work out for the best. So Xaoh decided that he would run with this plan. Xoah then placed his right hand in his right pocket and pulled out the letter. When Xaoh did that he handed the letter to Takashi and said to everyone.

"Hey Salome, I have an idea. Its going to be risky but, I know we can handle it. Ok here is the deal me and you will leave and head for the valley of the end right now. Takashi and Asha, you two should go find Kazumei and get him to come there also. I know he has jobs for you to do when its going to come to this mission so don't worry you will have some fun as well."

As Xaoh said that he turned around and started walking out of the Ashitaka district. Xaoh was heading for the gate of the flame village with his hands in his pockets. Xaoh knew that once they made it to the valley of the end there was going to be a big battle. Weither or not the leaf village joined in on the battle or not wasn't up to them it was up to the leaf themselves. If the leaf got involved on this attack then there would be all out war between the Flame and the Leaf. Who knows which side will win. Then again with there kage gone the leaf might not stand a chance.

Spike, slightly taken aback by the arrival of two new adults, noted Asha's facial expression before listening to her words. She was obviously confused about something, but she didn't bring it up. It must not have been important enough. Spike smiled and nodded at her before turning to Takashi, who began speaking.
Despite the obvious encouragement, there was something about his words that confused him. What made this man think he was an Ashitaka? After all, Spike had only told him his first name. The way Takashi spoke, it sounded as if this man was an Ashitaka as well. Because of his strange words, Spike had reason to believe that this man knew more than he let on...
As if that were enough, Spike had a sensei? The very thought of a sensei both excited and frightened him, and it was made apparent by the look on his face. Images of his past, with what was technically his sensei, flashed in his mind. The things she taught, as well as the way she taught them, wasn't the best for a child, or anyone below the rank of chuunin, for that matter.
For now, albeit with a little hesitation, Spike would slip away, without a word, to search for his sensei, this 'Juno' person. He would smile and wave to anyone who saw him leave, but other than that, he was out of there.

Salome wasn't surprised that they had no clue where to find him. It was sorta funny because even his own people had no clue on his whereabouts. She turned to Xaoh and shrugged. She was sure he knew what was going on. But still they had to get things going at soon as possible. If there was one thing about Kazumei. He could be late many times over but he never failed to miss one important mission or a fight for the matter so she wasn't worried. "Yeah it might be risky starting off without him but I'm more than sure we could handle things once we get there." She smiled. Once Xaoh handed the letter to Takashi, she followed behind him through to the gates of the flame village where they would head out to the sound. With that she nodded to Takashi and Asha and patted them on the shoulder before leaving the Ashitaka district behind Xaoh.

Kazumei entered the Ashitaka District with the right arm of Akkoto that was once attached to Rengoru. The moment his foot had touched Ashitaka territory, three Ashitaka males greeted him upon his entry. Each of them were bodyguards whom Kazumei had recognized during his times with the elders. Anything brought to them were examined and cautiously analyzed before being delivered to the council, even if it was sent from an Ashitaka. Once they received the arm they wrapped it in a thick layer of bandages before heading off towards the council. As the two men headed off towards the council of elders two more Ashitaka shinobi would slip from the shadows and join in to make sure the arm was delivered safely to the council. This arm was nothing more than another fragment of Akkoto Ashitaka, and it was reveled as a highly dangerous artifact, however the council would be taking care of things from here. As Kazumei continued he would notice Asha and Takashi nearby. As he approached he would wave up two fingers to alert their attention.

"Alright, before you guys jump to any conclusions I have a good reason I was late. There was an incident at the Mosou District, so I had to check things out."
