Located in the harbor, just below the Capital, this plaza is an impressive structure where Flame Village hold inspiring rallies for the people of the Metal Country. This plaza is a powerful setting that represents the dominance of the Flame Village, and it is the main line of defense for the village. Lined with numerous battlements and varied weapons, the Royal Plaza is one of the most heavily guarded places in the Flame Village. The plaza is lined with facilities that hold possibly hundreds of kunai releasing machines for defense against invaders. It is also home to a battle tower where speeches are held before the armies of shinobi.

It felt good for a while to be out into the open. Cooped up in the office for more than thirty minutes wasn't exactly pleasant. Paperwork wasn't exactly one of his hobbies and it was far from training where he could be. As of now you could say the majority of the flame shinobi were on daily duty for the last few days. Nothing to crucial had popped up lately. The thing they needed keeping an eye out for was the bijuu that was supposedly spotted along the outskirts of the country itself. Other than this everything was pretty munch under control. Children from all ends of the village and the ramen shop seemed busier than ever these days. Things were peaceful....for now at least. One couldn' guarantee how long this peace would last but as long as there was breath in this vessel he would make sure that it stayed this way.
"It beats chitchatting about what the counci's decisions and the scouting mission, that's one thing for sure."
He replied to Xaoh as they strolled through the plaza. This tailed beast could range from the one tailed ichibi to the nine tailed kyuubi, underestimation or dropping one's guard against these creatures were the last things a shinobi would do unless they wished to lose their lives. The three of them were great shinobi of their time, however should the beast be the kyuubi then they would have to give their all if they were willing to go into battle without the assistance of a sealing technique. Either way it gave them something to do other than sit around in the office with nothing to do. As Salome had guessed, Kazumei was both a tactician and warrior simultaneously. Political debates weren't exactly his favorite events, but he handled them with finesse in each given event. But when he was given the chance to take on higher ranking missions such as bijuu related, he welcomed these opportunities with open arms.

Solame giggled at Kazumei's words. The guy was a bit too serious for his own good sometimes. Then again on the other hand she couldn't expect anything less from someone who had obtained the skills that he possesses in such a short period of years. But again it was what she liked about him. In many ways she had admired him, not only for his hardness but for his impenetrable attitude. Solame on the other hand was known for her dangerous strength in battle. She just as cunning as she was beautiful and could bring down foes many times her size, which was another reason why she wanted to test her skills out on this bijuu. She had proved herself against shinobi many times over but she had never gotten the chance to test her limits against a foe munch greater than size and chakra than herself such as a bijuu. Though the opportunity for the mission hadn't risen just yet, she was still a bit pumped for the mission.
"You're right about that. I could careless if it's worth the hype, I just want some action. I've squeezed the life out of many shinobi before with these bare hands. It's about time I see what these bijuu are capable." She slammed her fists together in anticipation for the battle to come. She didn't care how long it took for the beast to show up. Just knowing that she had been chosen to go on the mission was enough for her.

Not far away from where the trio were traveling through the plaza, Toska had been standing on the rooftop staring at them to whole time. He had already gotten word on his mission to go to the sound village but for now he would keep quiet. "Lame. Why the heck should three of us go on a village babysitting mission." He shrugged and leaped from the rooftop landing in front of the Agnikage and his advisers. "So I'm supposed to go to the sound village to keep track of their movements and how their system ticks. Sounds boring but alright." He shrugged. "I say we wipe the thing off the map and just get rid of it as a whole if we need to watch them. Still if that's the way things have to be done." He let out a small sigh before sinking into a small puddle of water underneath next to Solame's feet, reflecting how the mission had reflected his mood.

Xaoh stood next to Solame as Toska appeared. Each ninja of the Flame Villae had there own strengths and there own weakness. Yet if you think about it the Flame Village never really showed any weakness because of the sheer fighting force they held for a small village. When Toska spoke about the mission he had to do, Xaoh allowed him to finish then he said to him.
"Well Toska I think you hit it on the nail. The Council seems to want to destroy the Sound and take control of there territory and gather as many demons as possible even if it means the death of most of us. Trust me they seemed to be crazier than we let them off to be."
As Xaoh said that he awaited for the other who would go with Toska on the mission to arrive. As he waited he also looked up at the sky to see if it was about to rain today or not.

The Flame Village were pretty munch about teritory when it came down to these things. Capturing the bijuu and sealing them away was something Kazumei would probably convince the council in doing instead of them for military weapons. For several years during each battle that came they emerged triumphantly without the assistance of bijuu. They had taken only their battle spirit to the battlefields and that seemed to be more than enough. Using bijuu as military weapons would only anger the rest of the villages and force them into initiating a shinobi alliance to stop them. Though the odds were grim, Kazumei couldn't help but think about the thrill of facing off against such odd. However the other part of him said seal them away and let them be redistributed to each country. Let them do what they want with them from there.
"Overcoming the sound wouldn't be too big of an ordeal, there's a few shinobi there with exceptional skill levels but not very many. Not enough to guarantee a won battle against the Flame at least."
His ember like eyes motioned towards the rest of the village where he would notice a few undercover guards strolling passed each individual without even attracting notice. Ever since gaining Agnikage, he had been enlightened on many secret affairs that the rest of the village had been oblivious in knowledge to. Each passing day he spotted them more easier than the day before. They were agents in charge of sorting out spies, infiltrators, suspicious civilians, and even suspicious looking flame shinobi. These boys were about business and Kazumei was one of the few that were able to distinguish them from the rest of the civilians amongst the crowd. Irrelevant to what he was looking at, for a split second Kazumei motioned his finges into his jacket pocket and revealed a familiar photo. "Hmph."

Atraeyu appeared using the bodyflicker, causing a small uplift of smoke to poof in the area. It seemed like he had made it just in time to see Toska on the ground complaining about the mission. In his eyes the mission was simple. Scout the village and be done with it. If anyone from the sound attacked, then they would return the favor. "Don't cry Toska, pull yourself together." He said before rinsing his open-toe boots in the puddle of water Toska had reverted his body into. Atraeyu looked around to see if the others had showed up. The only one they were waiting on now was Toshi. As he waited he pulled the b*****d sword from around his back he began polishing it. At one time he lead a small group from the flame village known as Bloodtrail that consisted of a selected few members to get rid of a certain group of shinobi that were encroaching on Flame Village territory. Many shinobi fell by this sword and it was a deadly reminder to any remaining shinobi that had faced off against Bloodtrail.

The puddle would slowly rotate and mold back into the figure known as Toska. Toska gave spat to the side and smiled at Atraeyu. If there was anyone more moody than the rest of them it was Atraeyu. "Tch, whatever. As long as we get to fight something soon." He said slipping his hands into his pocket. "Well in that case let's hope something goes down on the way back, the sound are probably preparing for their Chunin Exams these days. Rumor has it that a new Otokage has just been promoted so we'll see how that goes." Toska said shrugging. "Well it's about time we get outta here, let's get this over with Atraeyu." At least Xaoh had made some sort of mention towards destroying the Sound. At best he could hope that the rumors of council's intentions were true. But until he would get official word he would lay low and do what he was told for now. He had learned his share of being irrational already. Not a pretty sight when a direct order was disobeyed from the council. But this was back when he was a genin. When it comes to jounin there are no excuses for errors that could be avoided. "Well it looks like we're off."((-exit-))

Atraeyu only shook his head in disapproval at Toska. The only thing the fool wanted to do was fight which was all the more reason why he would want to keep his eye out on him. It was shinobi like him that were so eager for battle, they blindly missed the entire purpose of the mission. Strapping the b*****d sword around his back, he turned around and headed out behind Toska who already started out towards the gates. "Well Salamander, I'll be off for the mission. Be sure to send a message bird should anything arouse in the village that might need our immediate return." He said to Kazumei. With that he turned to Solame and Xaoh the two advisers. "And would you two keep an eye on the Flame Lord for us, he seems to have contracted some illness that doesn't allow him to stay in one spot for too long. Maybe it's just me." He said sarcastically without even the slightest smile to show that he was joking. With that he turned around and headed out with Toska who was already exiting the gates most likely.((-exit-))

From above Toshi would land on the ground not far from Solame and Kazumei. It was bad enough that he was late, and now he didn't have time to greet the newly promoted Agnikage. Not just any kage but the Fire God of the Flame Village. Toshi had been a long time friend of Kazumei and Xaoh. But he had been knowing Kazumei since as long as he could remember. With a slight nod and smile and turned back and looked at him. "Sorry but I'll treat you to a good meal at the ramen shop and we'll celebrate afterward if you're not too busy training yourself to death." He laughed and darted off towards the village gates. He was pretty hype about missions no matter what they involved. Usually the missions they took took sharp turns that involved fighting and sometimes even worst. So the drive that really compelled Toshi to go on these missions was the feeling of unexpectedness. The feeling of not really knowing what turns the mission to take. One thing that he did know for sure about these missions. That was the fact that they were the ones that were going to emerge triumphant unless their opponents had escaped the battle by some chance. Salome nodded in agreement with Kazumei. Sadly but true, the Sound were indeed going to be easy as a result of the promotion of the new kage there. There were a few shinobi such that would put up a good fight there but when it came to the quality of the number and unity of shinobi, there was no greater force than the Flame. Still these were her own opinions and anyone was allowed to attempt at changing them. The chances were slim but she welcomed all circumstances as a true flame konoichi. "What a interesting bunch." She chuckled as she watched Toshi, Atraeyu, and Toska exit the gates of the plaza. She had to admit, the mission that the council had given Xaoh was pretty lame to give especially to a bunch such as themselves. But orders were orders and the mission's success was probably more important than they knew. "Well I hope their mission goes well. Anyways what's up on the agenda besides the usual. Well it's been fun guys but if the council doesn't need me right now I'll be on my way."

Xaoh looked as everyone left the area. It was simple if they all wanted to fight Xaoh was down for the fight with the Sound. Then again in the old days the sound village was a force to be feared.
"Say Kazumei, do you know who the Otokage is of the Sound. I wonder if he is as bad as Orochimaru was. It would be nice to see the sound village go back to those days. If they would then it would make them a much better target when we attack them. Yea, I know I said attack but, how the council talked earlier they want to attack the sound."
As Xaoh said that he stood with his hands in his pockets and waitied to see what Kazumei and Salome would say. If anything Kazumei and Salome were the only ones who knew exactly what kind of council they were dealing with. Then again if things were going to keep going like this there would sure be a war in time.

As the others embarked on their mission, the atmosphere gained a munch roomier feel to it. So many shinobi piled into one area wasn't really his thing, but he endured it for the sake of what had to be done. Listening to Xaoh, he had a few opinions on the newly promoted Otokage they spoke about. Not really so good or so bad, which surmounted to almost none. The Otokage of the village was incapable to being compared to neither the first Otokage or the founder of the sound village. From what he heard, the guy was way too timid for his own good which eventually be his downfall. The Sound was known for preying on the weak and without the necessary assistance he wouldn't last for long.
"I couldn't really compare this one to neither the founder or the first Otokage. But we'll see. He still has time to shine before 'they' began preying on him."
He chuckled as they strolled deeper into the village. By now they had already past Great Gates of Flame, each of them were influenced by an Ashitaka before them. The guards there nodded at his presence, giving him the ok that everything was clear. "Well I guess that settles things, if you guys have some business to take care of feel free to make your leave. As for me I'm headed back to do some training. Laterz." He lazily waved one hand behind him as he headed towards the Ashitaka District. ((-exit-))

A small bird soared high over the royal plaza. If one were to look directly above, they would notice a small piece of rolled parchment clamped in between it's beak. Soon the bird would swing below and land upon Xaoh's shoulder where it would lower it's beak and drop the parchment into his hands. At the bottom of the riding it would read. The letter would read:
The time has come to the council's plan for the sound village. We have spoken with the Otokage, who greeted us with hostility when we arrived. Using their emotions against them, they neglected to close and lock their gates and so we resumed the mission and continued through their village. Overhearing them speaking, one of their ninja stated that he and the Otokage were headed to the Valley of the End to meet up with the Hokage for reasons unknown. Something about a proposal. Most likely some form of alliance but this is only an assumption.

Xaoh looked over the letter and sighed. It seemed that the time had come for one of the villages to be taken down. Yet it was simple the crew went there for a regular scouting mission and look how it turn out. Xaoh took the letter and rolled it back up and placed it in his pocket. As Xaoh did that he looked over to Salome and said.
"Hey Salome. I think we should let Kazumei know about this. You know how we do. We are going to have to go to the Valley of the End and destroy the Otokage for being rude. Its funny because he just jumped up his date with death."
As Xaoh that he turned around and started walking towards the Ashitaka district to meet up with Kazumei.-exit-
