Battle Time for Allyse!
Rolling for Game Rated - Lemon.
Allyse's 1st Turn!

Allyse has encountered a(n) creaky skeleton!

Perhaps she should have simply waited by the river and had a nice read. Perhaps not? Who knew if Allyse liked battle or not. Or old, musty ruins, for that matter.

The ruins, made of white marble and gold Alyeid details, was actually in remarkably great condition; even the magical glows still existed, lighting the way once she found a crumbling section to enter into. The area seemed to be a hallway, the water slightly deep here, sloshing cooly at her shins.

Unfortunately she wasn't the only thing sloshing around - the other thing wasn't really friendly, though. Always these ruins with their nasty skeletal guardians. Didn't people know that treasure hunters would want to plunder their goods eons later?

Oh ... right.

At any rate, the creaky skeleton lurched at the Breton when it ... saw her? ... bringing its rusty axe up to strike the intruder.

Roll your choice of battle skill before writing any post. If you get higher than me, you win, and may check the monster for loot (if you dare) during your next event roll. If you get lower, you lose 1HP (and the battle). Either way, make your next event roll. On the event of a tie, wait for my next battle roll!

[Conjuration Roll]

In an old, but rather decent-looking, underground chamber such as this, one would - and probably should - expect to run into a few skeletons left behind. Allyse did not, however, expect to run into an active skeleton such as this rusty-axe wielder. Of course, maybe this was why few other people ventured out to this new ruin at all?

The bottom of her skirt got wet as she let go of it, skimming through the book for... "Where in the hell is it? ...found it!" Allyse was in such a frantic state while casting the spell that she never noticed the creature she summoned attacking the skeleton: rather, she only looked up when she heard bones fall.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Allyse approached the skeleton that used to be someone eons ago, thinking that maybe, just maybe, there was something in the rubble. Beyond an axe that exposed itself to too much water.

Well, it was a skeleton. As such, there wasn't much of anything but mildew she could find. The blade that she had little to no use for (besides selling it) wouldn't budge from its hand bones anyway, but again, Allyse was not a fighter in a physical sense, so she didn't put much more effort into finding anything there.

Interesting, though... there had to be something down here to find if skeletons from times ago were fighting against intruders. Allyse continued going through the glowing, (and flooded) white hall, wondering what else she'd run into. Hopefully something more than bones.

Battle Time for Allyse!
Rolling for GR - Lemon.
Allyse's 2nd Turn!

Allyse has encountered a Ghost!

Allyse got her hope, in one form or another, but certainly not as she was expecting.

If she paid attention, she would notice that the shadows she cast on the softly light walls of the lengthy hallway moved and bounced slightly out of her step, every so often taking a form of their own long enough to make motion to what seemed like the inky darkness.

They continued this way for several feet, rousing themselves from the eons of slumber from which they were awakened.

It's not that the one that finally leaped out to "greet" her was particularly dangerous, but it certainly would seem that way to someone that wasn't used to dealing with harmful otherworldly creatures.

If she was quick enough, she might be able to dodge the energy being's attack and win with one of her own.

If she wasn't ... well there was always a chance she could run down the breakaway hallway she'd managed to make it to before the attacks on her were redoubled. If she was quick enough she might be able to escape her fate.

[Conjuration Roll]

Huh. The shadows didn't... fit. Maybe it was the lighting; maybe it was the water she was stepping in?

Or maybe it was a ghost who hid in the shadows. When it popped out of the wall, Allyse was pleasantly surprised. These things were more than legend! The expression faded when she saw the energy form and launch itself at her. This time, the Breton was not so hurried when she readied her book, though her sidestep made a difference as well.

The second scamp she summoned looked quite... odd, to say the least. However, it did its job quite well, dispatching the apparition.

Allyse enjoyed putting what she learned into practice. She knew, however, she couldn't go through this dungeon forever summoning stuff. After all, she was pretty winded right now. Whether or not ghosts left anything behind, well, that was something she was up to doing. A look around wouldn't hurt much, would it?

[Looting attempt, though it IS a ghost? XD; ]

We're not alone after all!

Allyse has killed proof of "life" after death! Oh well.

The ghost didn't really have anything substantial to begin with ... after all, it was a ghost. A small pile of glittery green dust drifted down, but unfortunately it dissolved into the water.

Too bad, as it might have been worth something to someone. Maybe not, though.

Ghosts were ghosts were... sparkly green powder? Allyse tried to catch some, but it wouldn't be enough to be worth anything, and once the dust hit the water, it was gone, or at least dissolved to the point of irretrievable. Too bad - it could have proved useful if she caught enough.

While she was fighting the ghost, she noticed another hall from this corridor. Maybe there was something in that area, so down that area she went. Allyse was becoming vaguely aware of feeling weighed down; if she made it out of this ruin, she'd have to dry her clothes, but it would be useful if she had money for anything first.

Allyse's Been Roadblocked!
Rolling for Game Rated - Lemon.
Allyse's 4th Turn!

Allyse has encountered a(n) crumbling, locked door!

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
The hall the Breton found was ... rather short, shall we say. At least, it seemed to be, because of the door blocking her path.

It was as ancient as everything else, of course, but the lock was in ... decent condition. The door itself was crumbling here and there, decrepit but sturdy enough not to fall to dust at least.

There were no places low enough for her to see through, however. She would have to get through to know what was on the other side!

You may use lockpick if there is a locked door, or any other skill you can think of to bypass this problem. Otherwise, this turn is over and you must turn around - make your next event roll.
