Q? was :
So what's the best web browser for Linux?
I've just installed openSUSE Linux Distro 64-bit (Gnome) and FireFox is really freakin' slow!
It's a major disappointment. I wish Google Chrome was released for Linux but it's not yet.
Answear:
There is Lynx but it is for text based browsing only. FireFox has all of the same features as FF in Windows. or You can try Opera, Konqueror if it suites your tastes. The only thing they are missing are image blocking and some security certificates, otherwise just go for Firefox.
OpenSuse has issues with video card drivers which make ff lag when switching tabs or loading webpages. I've seen it happen with ATI. but it's really you're preffrance everyone has different operating systems with alot more or less packed into there computers so really all i can say is try the above and hopefully you find a browser that suits your computer!
