Astronomy now has a article on diamond oceans on Uranus and Neptune http://www.astronomynow.com/news/n1001/21diamond/

I've heard of this before I read about the possibility for diamond rain on these two planets basically the carbon in the atmosphere is under such pressure that it will be condensed into diamond, its diffidently plausible the conditions are right for it but no one can say for sure until its observed. But it could explain some of the anomalies we see. I think there is very good evidence for it.
