Things that turn online visitors away

A website is most likely to be turned away by an online visitor if it takes tonnes of time for every page to load, when its color, fonts and background are not welcoming and most importantly
when visitors don't find what they are looking for
when the site is not promising

I know what you mean.
I try to browse on several browsers and every so often all the high art graphics makes the site hard to brows, if not a long while, of just fell to load.
