An old fortress used by the Monster race during the Koma War. Located far out in the desert. The whole structure is still perfectly intact, even after so many centuries, but it was abandoned towards the end of the war.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but... 
Xellos grumbled a little under his breath, as the all too familiar walls of the old fort appeared around them. It had been...a long time since he'd been here. He'd never thought that he'd be back this soon, or at all for that matter. Just being near the entrance was enough to make him feel sick. Enough to make the memories resurface. He forced it down, focusing on the task at hand. He needed to find somewhere for Cerras to rest. Before he started worrying about the past.....that, is a secret....

"Xellos?" Cerras spoke up in a choked tone, looking at the dark-haired mazoku in concern. He looked bothered, almost too bothered. Sick, even.
She frowned, continuing to stare, wondering if he'd even answer.
It hurt her, seeing him like this, especially when she was already wounded. She just hurt worse.
" ... Are you ... alright? Something's bothering you." She didn't do anything else, besides the staring. That was the only thing on her mind.
She knew this base was from back in the time of the war; so what was he thinking about --- ah. She knew. Someone, who was really important to Xellos (Sherra?) had died back then. This place held too many memories for him.

Xellos I'd tell you what I'm thinking but...
"Don't worry about it." he mumbled stubbornly. "I'm fine." He didn't really feel like talking about it, and especially with Cerras. After all, she was created long afterwards, so it had nothing to do with her. He recast the healing spells as he wandered down each familiar corridor. It was rather surprising that the fort was still in one piece, since so many centuries had passed since it was first built. He located a bedroom -one of two he actually knew about- and carried Cerras inside. "Sorry, but this'll have to do for now. If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else when you recover." he said bluntly as he sat her down on the bed. He felt even worse being in this room. Why did that stupid pest have to go and blow their cover?!....that, is a secret....

Cerras wondered what Xellos was thinking in full, but ignored it, trying her best to get some rest.
Thoughts still wandered through her head unconsciously, she couldn't control them. Her eyes slipped closed and she was about to fall asleep before ...
"Help meee!!! That girl wants to kill me! I'm sorry i blew your cover! I'll never do it again! And to make sure i don't just block off my magic please! I'm way to young to die!" She heard Nerio shout out, and her golden-yellow eyes opened once more, a bit of annoyance showing in them. She sighed, snapping her fingers, forming a magic barrier around him so that he wouldn't be able to use magic for a good amount of time.
"Who is this who wants to kill you, may I ask?" She just wanted to sleep, so that she could be her normal self again. being weakened like this ... it bothered her.

"That, would be me." Juri said bluntly, walking into the bedroom. It figured Xellos would be dumb enough to leave the door open. She grabbed Nerio by the back of his shirt. "And I still might, if you don't stop causing us so much trouble!! I'm sick of having to babysit you all the time!!" She started pulling him out of the room, practically dragging him, and shut the door behind him. She'd left Yume out in the hallway. "I'm gonna go lock this one up, and then I'll take you to the bath so you can get cleaned up. Promise." she said with a grin.

"Cerras already did that." She retorted. "And I think some time by yourself will do us both some good." She was really starting to hate this. The more she talked to this boy, the more she acted like her sister.

"But, If you leave me alone... How do you know i wouldn't do something...?" Nerio said. "Oh ya my magics gone...." Nerio said. "Ok fine leave me alone but i might.... Run away!" Nerio said.

"Right."
Yume nodded in agreement, feeling a bit sorry for Nerio, having to be locked up like that. It must be real lonely to be by himself like that. If he'd only cooperated, he'd be able to have a bit more freedom.
She smiled brightly back to Juri, feeling as if, maybe, she'd made a new friend. But then, in realization of the facts, her heart felt torn. They'd have to hurt each other later on, if Lina's group took her back. That was why she wished she could help both sides, to have EVERYONE feel happy.
That was her dream, for things to be truly peaceful.
Again, they were left alone. But the silence bothered her deeply.
Cerras stared at the ceiling, her eyes beginning to blur on her. She was still struggling to breath. She brought the blanket close to her, fear showing in her golden-yellow eyes.
She assumed Nerio had gotten on her nerves, so much, that she forgot to breathe, and stay still. After all, she found herself sitting up, and lied back down onto the bed.
She choked many times, in her breaths, and she looked over to Xellos, smiling weakly. She didn't want to say anything, but she felt so weak, as if she was on the brink of death, even when Xellos had healed her before. Many of her ribs were crushed, after all, and they likely were scattered around her body, cutting into many organs.
"Xellos." She mumbled, gently brushing her hand against his shoulder, trying to get his attention. But she didn't know if it'd work. She was too weak to move too much, worse than the times before. She was a weak mazoku, she had to admit, but before, the pain wasn't that much --- trying to get through the Holy Barrier. This was worse. The healing hadn't done much due to her "broken bones".
This was what she deserved for messing with the Hell Master, her lord. He was able to choose if she lived or died, she was his mazoku.
She couldn't run away from that, he'd always haunt her.
"Could I talk to you ... just for a little while ... please?"

He glanced up suddenly, forced back to reality, when he felt Cerras' hand on his shoulder. Then he looked down at her. "Of course. I wasn't planning on leaving yet." he said. He reached out his hand and ran it over her hair. Not in his usual teasing fashion, but more like he was comforting her. ....that, is a secret....

Juri ignored his last comment, closing the door on Nerio. Where was he supposed to run to? They were out in the middle of nowhere. If he behaves I'll let him out... she thought to herself. Then she grabbed Yume's hand and led her through the fort. Though it seemed more like a house or an inn than a place to prepare for battle. She'd been here several times in the last few years, so she knew practically the whole layout by heart. And that everything still worked properly. She pulled open the door to a large bathroom, and immediately went to turn on the tub. "There. I'll leave in a sec..." she said to Yume before going to a cabinet and pulling out wads of cloth and a large bowl. "I need to get some things for Cerras-san..." she continued as she filled the bowl with water from the sink. She was trying desperately to keep a calm face, but the fear and worry was starting to show through. Was her friend...really going to die... ...??

"Wait!!! What if i have to go to the Bathroom!" Nerio yelled as the door was slammed in his face. Nerio frowned, He sat on the floor as he saw a Bat flying around. "Die you stupid animal!" Nerio yelled and smacked it and then stepped on it. "Man, This place looks really old..." Nerio said frowning.

Rayla looked at the house that everyone was in and looked around. Rayla knocked on the door of the house and then rang the door bell. Rayla sighed waiting for one of them to answer the door.
