Beast Tamers: Work with lions and other great beasts from every corner of the earth and some that are not of this world. Generally tall and strong. Always wearing thick leather garments that protect them from the animals. Beast tamers are devoid of jewelry save for a bar piercing at the base of their necks

Jugglers: Quick and skillful, jugglers come in all shapes and sizes. They juggle everything that can be lifted in their hands, often to some injury. All jugglers have tattoos that mark their skill in the craft. Beginners are tattooed with a thin blue line. Intermediary jugglers are marked with a thick red band beneath the blue line. Advanced have a rope of yellow that ties the two prior tattoos together. It twists around the arm. Master jugglers have a black bar that connects all the others vertically. Very few reach mastery.

Tumblers: Thin and agile. Tumblers range from floor performers to tight rope. Each sect of tumbler wear colored beads in their hair to signify where they belong. Floor performers have yellow beads. Tight ropes are blue. Horse riders are red. Gymnasts are black. Flag artists are green. There are tumblers who branch into multiple types. Very few bear all colors in their hair.

Trapeze: Trapeze artists are small and light. They are quick in mind and body. Their faces are heavily painted to be better seen from the air. Their uniforms are brightly colored. They all wear a black band in around their head and two red on their wrists and ankles.

Illusionists: Magicians and conjurers. They are dark and mysterious in nature and often make good thieves and con men. They always weark black, on and off stage.

Daredevils: Riders of the wind, stuntmen and death defiers. They are marked by brands that show they are invincible and invulnerable to pain. Each brand is unique and chosen by the individual.

Freaks: Beastmen, skin twisters, human nail block, fire eaters, shapeshifters, and walking corpses; freaks from every corner of darkness. They are precluded by their hideous nature and often walk the circus grounds at night because the day is harsh on them. They tend to keep to themselves and their own group.

Stage Hands: Helpers in the backstage. Shadow men. They learn the inner workings of the circus and how it lives. Without them, the circus could not be. Dressed in grey or black. They keep to themselves, for fear of losing their secrets.
