Pierre raced into the Med Bay, Cal still limp in his arms. He put her down on a Gurney and strapped her down. That'll never hold her... he thought. He wasn't sure if he'd said it out loud or not. Finally, he remembered the rope from the graveyard- which he had fortunately put around his back. ((Coincidence, eh?))
Dropping to his knees, he tied the rope around Cal. After the knots were tight, Pierre remembered something. He slammed his fist against the red button on the wall, an alarm. Right afterwards, he wished he hadn't- It was SOOOO annoying!

It was dark, mercifully dark. Without temperature or sound, Cal sank deeper into the smothering unconsciousness. She could hear Scorpio - no, the thing that had taken Scorpio's shape - snarling and cursing Pierre for knocking her out. With a force of will, Cal slammed the black creature into an invisible wall in her mind, the repercussion causing her physical body to convulse.
Scorpio snarled in rage and jabbed her tail at Cal. The shot went stray as the brunette rammed her knee into the cracked carapace at the level of Scorpio's floating ribs. It shrieked in pain and slumped slightly, glittering black eyes glaring malevolently at its counterpart.
"If you hurt my family," Cal growled ferally, "I'll rip off your head before anyone else gets the pleasure."
A fanged smile slashed apart the brown exoskeleton of the scorpion-creature's face. "You forgot one thing, X-Men slime."
"And that is?"
"I am you."
She'd also forgotten about the stinger. The poisonous barb slammed into Cal's back a few inches from her spine but with a loud crunch of bone. She was so winded, only a gasp could escape her as her body folded double and slumped away into the black abyss.

Pierre stood watching Cal helplessly. The alarm was still sounding, but no one was around to hear it, or atleast thats what Pierre thought was wrong. He had absolutely no idea what to do with Cal in this state. She was just layin' there. He couldn't fight her, he had no idea how to heal her...
Defeated, Pierre lit his cigarette and sat on the counter. Smoke curled out from his nose as he sat, only able to hope she would be alright.

The siren suddenly muffled itself. "Crikey, d'ya know 'ow irriaitin' tha' is?" Pyro entered the medical bay, rubbing the side of his head. His face was screwed up in obvious pain, and though the alarm still wailed, it was in the upper portion of the house now. About to ask what all the racket was about, he caught sight of Cal, and his eyebrows shot up as he walked over to her and pressed two fingers to her neck.
"Why've ya tied 'a up?" he asked Pierre pointedly.

Pierre collapsed into a chair, holding his head up by his hands.
"She... She's lost it. She turned into some- some beast and attacked me!" he explained wearily, lighting a cigarette.

Pyro summoned the fire out of the cig, leaving it unlit and cold. "No' in th' Med Ward," he said with a disapproving tone. "Chroist, did Cal 'ave t' pass on 'a smokin' 'abit when she got e'a?" he added to himself and extinguished the flames as he closed his fist. He opened one of the girl's eyes and sucked his teeth in distaste.
"Bad," he muttered. "Real bad. S'not Cal a' all."

Pierre put the cigarette in an ash tray deflatedly. He walked over next to Pyro, but he still didn't trust him completely.
"Yeah, definately not Cal..." he muttered. "She tried to kill me."

Pyro gave him a "Duh" look as he closed the glittering black eye and removed his hand from her throat. "Where are the other X-Men?" He spat the word in his disbelief that no one was around. On their own accord, his hands went to the ropes that held her down and tightened them. Then he clicked his tongue as she tried to foresee any problems with keeping her there.
"Go find someone to get down here and check her over," he told Pierre.
[I give up on writing the accent. Way too complicated.]

Pierre scratched his head. "I, uhh, I dont even know where to start looking. Honestly, I havent seen anyone since the Christmas party..." he muttered, wishing he could smoke in here.
