Basic Training (reference)It was the end of the day out in the wasteland. The moon began to peek out of the horizon as a Brotherhood of Steel soldier went down into the ground for his final bout of training. A bunker was set aside for this one last obstacle course before the plunge, when this fine soldier was to be sent out to earn his name in the field. He was issued down a long corridor into the dim illumination, ending up in a small room with a metal door. In front of that door was his tester. His instructor-to-be was not the tallest, or strongest man, but he was respected enough to mold his flabby flesh into durable steel. He stood there in the armor of a Knight, a suit of combat armor that had been modified to provide better protection, stained in a dark gray. The Knight's helmet was off, golden hair cascaded from his head like straw. His eyes were also golden, like a cat. "I am Knight Azure and you are in my charge until you have completed my course."Azure's relatively calm voice echoed throughout the corridor. "Since I haven't had the chance to read your files, perhaps you would be so kind as to introduce yourself..."azureink Objective 1: Character Introduction.Please introduce your character in a post (minimum one paragraph). Konchomai remained relatively motionless as the knight introduced himself. The last time that Konchomai had been here, it had been to observe his partner-in-crime, Jonathan. God knows what happened to him.
Konchomai stood around 5' 8" and could have weighed between 180-190 pounds. His hair fell in layers around his face, with dreadlocks covering most of his back. His appearance was muscular, with a large array of scars all over his body. The most ominous was the one on his right eye-it made a certain darkness appear in his pupil. However, Konchomai's strangest feature was a mechanical right arm. The arm was made of a steel alloy, and covered with a white plastic casing. Anyone could tell that the arm boosted his power, for a single motion caused turbines to chug, and set the small, 5-Horse power engine into motion. If he would say that he specialized in a field, he would most likely mention that he prefers melee and hand-to-hand combat over most forms of traditional weaponry, but enjoys his Modified Ak-47 (Modified with a ACOG Scope) and also likes to be a cartographer in his spare time.
His armor was that of the night-a very ashy black. With it lay an unfamiliar raider's symbol on the arm, and the BoS symbol on it's back. A pair of Aeroplane goggles lay on his head. He kept a katana at his side for...sentimental reasons, as he said.
"Pleasure to meet you, Knight Azure. I'm ready for anything that I have to be ready for."

"Good. We'll see what you are made of then."The instructor turned and went up to the door. It opened and he ushered the Brotherhood soldier down a short corridor and into another room. Some straw-stuffed, burlap sack dummies stood around on metal poles. One such dummy stood off to the right, three more stood across the room, where a white firing-line was drawn on the ground several meters from them. Weapon lockers and ammo boxes lined the sides of the room where the dummies weren't. "Let's see what you can do against these dummies."Knight Azure said as he pointed to the lone dummy nearby. azureink Objective 2: Basic Combat.Basic Combat is divided into three sections: unarmed/melee combat, firearms, and throwing (usually grenades). 1) Unarmed/Melee Combat. In another post (minimum three sentences), approach the straw dummy provided, and strike it with either unarmed attacks or a melee weapon (you may use any Initiate ranked unarmed or melee weapon of your choice).

Konchomai nodded at Knight Azure's instructions.
He turned to the dummy, and smashed it's head with one punch of his metallic right arm. He grinned-the thing wasn't broken, as he had once assumed. He then kicked it multiple times in the area where a normal chest cavity would be. He waited until the model drooped over backwards (from the back pole being snapped), and then unsheathed his katana. His blade flashed for but a moment-only someone with adept eyes could tell that he not only slashed through the torso, directly through the spinal column area, but beheaded the model and sliced it's arms off, down the seam. His movements were as precise as a surgeon, and his skill with it as powerful and effecient as one of the ancient samurai.
With a quick roundhouse kick, the model's torso flew in-front of the knight. Anyone could tell that he had considerable skill in the form of unarmed and melee combat. Konchomai re-sheathed his katana, and then resumed a position behind the knight, waiting for instruction.

"That will be sufficient for now."Azure said before he motioned with his hand to bring the recruit over to the firing line. A table sat off to the side with an assortment of smallarms. Pistols to hunting rifles adorned the surface of the table. "Now let's see how you handle a firearm."azureink Objective 2: Basic Combat.2) Firearms. In your next post (minimum three sentences), approach the firing line, and take aim at any of the three straw dummies provided (you may use any Initiate ranked firearm of your choice; if you choose a basic firearm without the burst feature, you will need to requisition one that does have that feature for the second part of this training exercise). First, fire some single rounds into the dummy(ies) of your choice. After that, you will switch to burst-fire mode and mow down a dummy of your choice.

Konchomai cracked his knucle, and pulled a Desert Eagle from the table. He checked the gun, to see if it was working properly. He re-loaded the magazine, cleaned the barrel, and then cocked the gun. He regarded killing as an art-one that must be handled in the same way one raises a child. With care, diginity, respect, chivalry, and the occasional bit of terror.
Konchomai aimed down the iron sights. He breathed in, and the breathed out. The gun popped three times. One bullet went through the kneecap of the middle dummy, the second went through the diaphram and the third went inbetween where the eyes would be. Konchomai smiled-he was still moderately okay. He put down the Desert Eagle, and went for an assault rifle.
Konchomai grabbed an Ak-47, cocked it, and took aim. He unloaded the whole clip into one dummy, blowing chunks of it off and leaving the lower torso with a leg detached intact. He then unloaded three-bursts into the next dummy, ripping the head off and tearing an arm off. He grinned-this was an amazing weapon, but alas! He was already done. He put down the Ak and then resumed his position behind Knight Azure.

"I see you can handle a firearm."The Knight pointed to a box of grenades, then to the dying dummies. "Let us see if you can use a grenade with the same competency."azureink Objective 2: Basic Combat.3) Throwing. In your third post (minimum three sentences) of the Basic Combat training, you will retrieve a grenade of your choice from the nearby ammo box, and throw it at one of the three straw dummies that inhabit the same area that you used your firearm(s) on. Describe the explosion.
