I'm talking about Aeschylus' The Oeresteia and each of Sophocles' and Euripides' Electra.

I love this story. Sophocles' version is my favorite at this moment, mainly for Clytemnestra's self-defense and the unsettling feel of the conclusion.

Has anyone else read these? What do you think of the story and of the differences in the retellings?
