Well mine are fish so I got mine from the fish store >.>
I used to have a crayfish and I got it at my school, after I project we did on crayfish (which I can't quite remember).

I have a kitty cat. He is 11 years old. He was born at my home. I just love him to death. Besides he is the boss of the house. LOL

before I list where we got everyone I would like to say NEVER buy puppies and kittens from any petstore other than petsmart and I hear petco (they both host pets from shelters) because in other pet stores the animals come from mills,or back yard breeders (they are the biggest reason there are so many shelter animals its people who breed their dog/cat for one reason or another,you never know the health of the pup/kitten you will get,please adopt!) I know alot of people already know that,but you wouldnt BELIEVE the amount of people who dont,so that being said
(my cat and my brothers cat)
found on a mountain dumped off to die as little baby kittens (I would like to get my hands on the person who did such a thing,especially when spaying could have prevented that problem in the first place)
(my other cat)
mamma cat was killed or abandoned her under a portch,and some people brought her to my moms work,and we got her from them.
(my horse)
an auction,best birthday present evar :3
(my brothers horse)
we payed someone to get him for us,they got him from auction
(my sheep)
I rescued him from our neighbor,they have a sheep farm,and he was the runt,and almost dead when I found him cause he wasnt getting enough to eat cause of the bigger lambs,I had originally planned to bring him back once I nursed him back to health,but I love him so much it never happened haha
(the other sheep)
same people only he was too small to be in the fair,and the daughter loved him and didnt want her dad to sell him for butcher,so we smuggled (as if they would care) him here.
(Bella-American pit bull terrier)
she came from our local shelter,she was shipped there,and starved as a young pup I guess,long before we got her
(Tucker-Catahoula leopard dog/Border collie mix)
they were giving them away free in front of the grocery store,they claimed if they didnt find a home,the husband was gonna shoot them
(Butch-boxer/chihuahua mix)
yet another one that my mom brought home from work,he had belonged to an old woman,but he was too small for her to properly care for,and thats how we got him.
(26 of our hens)
we got them from meyers hatchery,they were shipped for 3 days before they got here
(our 38 other hens and 2 of our roosters)

(1 hen and 1 rooster)
BYB (back yard breeder) NEVER doing that again,we started with 8 chicks,ended with only 2,they were badly bred.
(Mini me-our bantam rooster)
he just showed up at our house one day,we dont know where he came from,but hes one of the family now.

our friend got him from Yuma AZ and brought him home,then her nephew (2 yrs old) kept trying to kill him,so she gave him to us cause we loved him
(Malina-blue and white hooded rat)
pet store (I did look for breeders and in shelters before but there were none near us)
(my spiders)
I caught them around the house,usually in the winter and couldnt release them as they would die

I have Tropical fish and a cat we got them from the pet store used to have two cats one got really sick and put down last year crying . When we went to get some fish one year we came home with two kittens lol heart biggrin

My family has 4 dogs and a cat.
We got Felicity, the cat, from a guy that rescued stray cats and gave them away for a small fee. (so that he could take care of them all)
We got Penny, my brother's dog, from a lady who posted on craigslist because her apartments rules for dogs changed and she couldn't keep her so she gave her to us for free.
Honey, my dog, was another craigslist pup. The guy who owned her was going into the army and couldn't take care of her anymore and his girlfriend already had a dog and she didn't like Honey anyway because she liked little dogs.
Then we got my mom's dog Sharpie. He was a stray. My parents found him across from the laundromat and picked him up. We tried really hard to find his old owners, but we couldn't find them so we just kept him. We've had him for almost a month.
My dad also got a dog about 2 weeks ago. We got him from a guy that worked at a tire shop they stopped at to get new tires for the limo and he said Sharpie was pretty and my dad said he wanted a German Shepard, and the guy said he had German Shepard/wolf hybrid pups and that we could have one. He named it Guillotine.
We've had Felicity for 8 years, Penny for around 3 years, Honey for 2.5 years, Sharpie for 1 month, and Guillotine for 2 weeks.
Guillotine's just a 6 month old puppy still. 3nodding He's adorable, but huge and he knocks me over all the time! sweatdrop

Our first dog Rufus came from our next door neighbors( their daughter Melissa used to baby-sit me and my brother). I had gotten my cat Socks from my other granny's neighbor from across the road, my two other cats Felix and Felicia are from the same litter as Socks belonged to my grandmother... but when my grandmother got sick with cancer I took them in. My parents bought their dog Marius from a friend of theirs who was selling the puppies.

We got all our pets for free. 1 of our cats from some family who didnt want her, one from some family whos cat had kittens, that cat hade kittens another one. Our dog was gonna be put down so we adopted it.

My kitty came from a ditch sad but it was love at first sight (at my sight, he just looked up at me and gave a real high pitched meow) now he's all happy and purrs purrs ^_^
