After a the temporary sparring area proved to be a success, Alnette decided it would be best to have a permanent sparring arena. This arena is simply a clearing of flat ground surrounded by bleachers. The entire area is kept warm by a spell, though the origins of the spell are unknown. The Rules Each fighter will start with 500 HP. (unless otherwise stated) Each fighter rolls 1 100-sided dice. If you win a roll, you take no damage. If you lose, however, you take damage. The difference between the rolls determine how much damage is done. First person to 0 HP loses. If someone rolls a 100, they automatically win. Current Match: Alnette vs Discord

Alnette yawned as she waited in the designated area. Though she had woken up a while ago, she was still a little tired. No matter though, she was excited for this fight. Win or lose, Discord was always worth a good fight and one would never know who would win until the final blow was dealt. A slight grin on her face, Alnette waited patiently.

A tormented wail sounded throughout the battlegrounds. Ghosts began to float around the area, heralding the appearance of their master. Clad in his usual black armor, the skeletal lich appeared, ready for battle. His choice to fight in his truest form was probably shocking to Alnette.
Discord did not attack. Rather, energy coarsed through his body and weakened him. It was not the best start of the day, but necessary. To Discord, this was like a charge. It was the price of his necromantic magic.

"Come on now, I don't have all day. Show me what you've got!"
Of all of the things Alnette knew, she should have known not to try and rush Discord for a fight. With a determined smirk, she drew her blade and lunged intending to strike Discord, but he was not only able to deflect it, but he knocked her away with ease.

As Alnette fell back, Discord looked at her with a grim skull grin. The eyes of Discord’s staff’s ornament began to glow. Suddenly, lasers shot out of them and exploded on contact with Alnett’s body. He did this several times, only stopping to see the damage he had done.

"Heh, is that all you've got?"
Alnette couldn't help but grin; she may be at a disadvantage now, but she hoped to change that soon. She didn't intend to lose to Discord again. However, this time she merely stood in place, bracing herself against Discord's attacks. Though painful, it was quite manageable.

Discord’s barrage of attacks eventually came to an end. Using this form could be taxing at times, but it was his necromancy was at its strongest. The second he relented his attack, Alnette delivered a devastating kick to Discord’s skull. It nearly knocked his head off his shoulders.

"Don't give up now, I'm just getting warmed up!"
Alnette smirked, feeling eager for what was to come. She spread her wings and launched herself into the air, hovering above Discord. Once she reached a height she found suitable, she let herself fall, using the momentum to deal a particularly powerful kick to Discord.

Discord was unprepared for the assault. The impact of her kick caused more damage that either of them though. Though not truly damaged, Discord’s armor became dented. Alnette repeated the same attack, denting Discord’s armor again and knocking him down.

Alnette had finished with her aerial assault, smirking. She was quite satisfied with the damage she had done. Again, she returned to her blade. Drawing it, she lunged at him and slashed, however, the blade didn't even scratch his armor. He was able to knock her away with ease.

Discord raised his staff and prepared to assault Alnette with lasers again. However, nothing came out. He was exhausting his form’s power too quickly. When Alnette went in for another slash, this time it was not blocked.

"You are starting to disappoint me, Discord. I thought you would be doing better."
Alnette was enjoying this. She readied herself for another lunge, but before she could even move, Discord raised his staff and assaulted her with lasers. Alnette was able to withstand most of the damage by blocking with her wings, but she had still taken damage.

The thought of displaying his necromancy on Alnette in such a way did come to his mind, but he was suffering necromancy recoil at the moment. It was nothing severe, but constant use of his art did have a price. Sparks of black energy, his own power, damaged him to a small extend.

Alnette was quite amused by Discord's threat. At the moment, it seemed quite empty. She charged towards him and unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks, forcing him to take a step back.

With the situation as it was, Discord began to formulate a plan. His skull chattered wildly as he remained still. Alnette was perhaps confused by his idle stance, but she took advantage of it. Discord was assaulted by attacks that would bring a normal human to his knees. However, Discord remained still.
