Does anyone know if this is a real potential side effect?
Recently I had a increase in seroquel, and around the same time (I think) my memory started going. First short term, like I was having trouble watching the Harry Potter movie in the theatre because I was having to constantly remind myself of what just happened, and now I'm missing days. Like I was at my foster home for a few days but I don't remember leaving or really being there except I think I talked to my friend there but I don't know any details and I came back (I am told) and was home yesterday but couldn't remember much of that either (my mom asked a couple hours ago where I hung the new Santa-bell ornament she gave me on the Christmas tree, and I didn't remember anything about it).
I've never heard of this before and I don't know if it's a actual possible side effect to getting more seroquel or it's coming from me and I'm just freaking out and making it worse myself, so I was wondering if anyone has heard of or had it before? I feel really stupid saying I don't remember things that happened yesterday, but I'm getting really scared that my brain is like... going for good.

Talk to your doctor about this one for sure. Short term memory loss is possible, but blacking out for days at a time could be a serious problem!

Thanks... it all got sorted out. My dosage was reduced and my memory seems to be functioning again. That was really scary, though.
