---------
"Well? Spill Shigure, I'm a very busy man you know." Hatori was the first to speak out of the group. On one side of him sat Ayame, dreaming of God knows what, while Momiji sat on the other side, humming a tune.
"Tell us aready! What? Do you think we have nothing to do or something? Just because you have all the time on your hands doesn't mean we do as well! Have you ever stopped to consider others? What-" Hiro was cut off by Kisa, tugging on his shirt, and that was the end of his rant.
Other than the Sohmas, Uo and Hana sat on the other side of the room, feeling slightly left out.
Everyone was invited here, except Hiro, who tagged along when he heard Kisa was coming. Shigure himself asked them to come, he sat on the other side of the table that seperated him from the guests. He seemed to be in deep thought which was very unlike him.
Kyo was present as well, he sat near the corner, facing the wall, while Yuki was leaning against the door way with his head bowed.
Shigure took a long drag on his cigarette then put it out on the ash tray and exhaled. "I've asked you to come here today because of... Tohru..." He began.
That was enough to catch the room's attention, now everyone was staring at Shigure, waiting for him to finish.
"Gure? Tohru isn't sick is she? Ah Gure-san, did you work her too hard?" Ayame asked, ending with one of his obnoxious laughs. Hatori shot a glare and he stopped instantly, but continued his laughter in silence.
"Tohru...?" Momiji said.
"Is Onee-chan ok?" Asked the cute voice that was Kisa's.
"What? What happened to Tohru?" Uo spoke.
'Please, tell us." Hana demanded.
With all eyes on Shigure, he continued. "Tohru, she... " He paused again.
It seemed the whole world has stopped for the dog to finish his sentence, atlast the silence was broken.
"She died ok?" Kyo snapped, turning away from the wall, his face was tear stained.
Author's note:: This idea came when yesterday. I lent my friend my Furuba DVDs to show her why it's the best show ever! xD And she admited I was right, but none of us could see why Tohru's got 10 Bishies running after her. Thus, I decided she should die. ^^

Chapter Info Rating: PG-13 Characters: Kyo, Yuki, Shigure, Momiji, Hatori, Ayame, Hanajima, Uotani, Hiro and Kisa. Author's Notes: There's way too many characters, so sometimes, it seems like they're not there at all. xD Forgive me. >.<
----
"She died ok!?"
The room remained it's quiet state, and it seemed, for the longest time, that no one spoke.
"Baka neko." Yuki muttered, despite the outsiders that were present, he too has been crying.
"Shut up you ku-" Kyo didn't finish, but slamed his fist onto the ground and turned to face the wall again.
"What did you say? What happened to Tohru?" Hanajima asked so quietly it was barely heard.
Shigure tooked a deep breath and replied, "She passed away."
"W-what?" Momiji shook his head and clutched Hatori's suit, shaking the man wearing it violently. "Ha'ri, tell me it's not true. Tell Shigure-san to stop lying!" The bunny released his hold and fell into Hatori's lap while still shaking his head. Hatori placed a hand on the soft blonde hair, his pants were getting wet, but that didn't matter right now.
Uotani rose from her sitting position and went over to Kyo, she grabbed him by the collar and stared into his eyes. "Alright orange top, this is some sick joke you're playing here!"
Kyo grabbed her hand and pulled it away from him. "Listen, Yankee, she died! She was alive once second, babbling on about what she was going to make for dinner, then bam, she wasn't babbling on anymore!" The two was locked in the glare until Ayame suggested. "Perhaps you should explain, Yuki." Ayame said in one of his more rare and serious tones.
Yuki nodded. "It all began earlier today when Honda-san said she needed to go out to buy ingridents for something, and I said I'd accompany her. Shigure pulled some strings and got Kyo to come as well, but that's not important. When we were done, like he said earlier, Honda-san began talking about what a great dinner she was going to make. She was so caught up, she didn't notice she went right onto the road and..." He stopped and sighed.
"Was onee-chan hit by a car?" Kisa asked. Yuki, Kyo and Shigure nodded their head in unison. Tears formed in the little tiger's eyes as she muttered 'onee-chan' over and over again while Hiro held her close.
---
After awhile, the room was silent again and the sounds of sobbing had died down. Shigure got up to serve everyone some tea, but found none, it was Tohru who was in charge of buying everything. The cup are all piled up and unwashed, it was Tohru who washes the dishes. Everwhere they looked, they could be reminded of Tohru, every little thing seemed to relate to her.
"Why don't we have some of what Ms. Honda has bought?" Yuki pointed to the bag on the floor. It was what he, Kyo and Tohru when to buy earlier in the day.
"You're gonna touch the things of a dead girl? Did she even buy it for you? Do you just assume that, since it's in your house, it's yours? Is this even your house?" Hiro asked his train of questions.
Kyo went over and picked up the bag, then laid in onto the table, while shooting a glare towards to kid. "Stupid brat." He mumbled.
Uotani peeked into the bag and took the things out. There were some rice, seaweed, fish, and other odds stuffs. What could she make for dinner out of these? Momiji fumbled with the things on the table and tilted his head, he had a feeling he knew what this is.
"Isn't this the things you need to make an onigiri?"
The room looked from Momiji to the ingridients on the tabled and slowly nodded. Onigiri... They smiled and got up to make dinner, a dinner of onigiris.
Tohru might have left, but it's going to be alright, because the little onigiri left behind a trail of rice, a trail of good memories.
